I’ve known this guy for years almost a decade In the past, everything was straightforward we would catch up, hook up, and then go our separate ways.

Recently, his behavior changed. He’s more affectionate, stays over longer, comes around more, opens up about his life, and says things like he feels different about me and that he misses me. One time he even said, “I wish you felt how I feel about you,” but didn’t explain what he meant.

He’s told me he loves me a few times, but when I asked in what way he said “as a friend.”

He’s also asked if I love him. I said yes and when I asked him how he feels about me the only thing he said was that he enjoys my company.

So I’m confused his actions feel more than casual. what does this usually mean?
