Ladies are any of you turned off by more aloof, quiet men?

I mean the kind that still seem very confident, are successful, dress nicely, but are in general emotionally distant from most of the people around them.

None of that is a problem in my eyes, providing he's not emotionally distant with ME, or is at least willing to work with me on some kind of compromise that we're both comfortable with. Emotion is the core of my being, it's a big part of what I feel, how I communicate, what I perceive in other people, how I CONNECT. In a relationship, I need to be able to really connect emotionally with my partner in order to feel cared for and be happy, so I couldn't be with a guy who was so distant and void of that in regards to others if he wasn't able to open up and at least let ME in.

I wouldn't go as far to say that I am turned off by them, but it does present a bit of a challenge. All of the quiet, aloof one that I have come across eventually open up to me. I like to talk, swap stories, and give advice. I think it's a matter of finding a common interest with said person, something that you can discuss or debate about.

If he's confident, talkative when you speak to him, good at conversation, not awkward or shy but just not that loud, and doesn't have issues interacting normally with people, I am fine with that. In fact, it can be very sexy and alluring, if he is a bit more aloof and less approachable but then when you do talk to him he's talkative and not awkward. It gives him an air of mystery. I once met a man like this, he wasn't so loud or talkative but he was good looking, successful, and not shy or particularly awkward. In fact he was very sexual :P and he turned me on with his somewhat aloof seductiveness and mystery. He was like walking sex. He wasn't even so shy, just not the type who was always seeking attention, and he had a kind of low, gravelly voice. But when you spoke to him he was engaging and not dull, he just wasn't one of those guys going up to every girl and flirting with her or hitting on her, which made his attention a lot more special and desirable. Ah he was such a sexpot.

I'm naturally attracted to quieter calmer men, since I'm more outgoing and social. It's kind of an opposites attract kind of thing. It tends to calm ME down more, and I generally find it sexy.
