Yesterday I was over at my best friends house and we were both getting ready to go out. I was complaining that I looked terrible when her brother walked by and overheard. He is really sexy and almost everyone of our friends has had a huge crush on him since forever. He isn't like other hot guys though because he's not an a**hole. I don't even think he knows how hot he is because he's kind of a loner. It's not that he's shy or not confident, but he just never says much and doesn't have that many friends. He doesn't even use Facebook, not that it matters but just to give you an idea.
Anyway he overheard me talking about how bad I looked and I heard him chuckle so I asked him why he was chuckling. He said:
"You look really pretty, you should really stop saying you don't"
I told him that he was just saying that to make me feel better and that's when he came up to me and kissed me out of nowhere. It lasted like 5 seconds and I couldn't even say or do anything after because it was too unreal. He walked away really fast before I could say anything. I texted him last night but he still hasn't replied yet. My friend (his sister) saw the whole thing and she was really surprised too. He hasn't dated or even gone out with any girls since his fiance died to a drunk driver 2 years ago. He was in the car and she died in his arms before 911 got there. That's why I don't want to be pushy or anything because I don't know if he's ready to move on.
Why would he kiss me and then walk away, and not respond to my text. The whole thing just feels like a dream and I don't know what I should do. Do you think he regrets doing that?
