I honestly think that a hot body is a well maintained body. I mean regardless of body size, a healthy body is and will always be hot. Now you don't have to be at the fitness model level, but just doing some resistance training or going running or working out will make wonders for anyone, guy and girl. I personally also like natural bodies, just be happy with what you have while making the best out of it.
I hate the new "average is the new skinny" campaign. skinny shaming is just as relevant a social issue as fat shaming is, especially since there's not as much support surrounding it.
Hahaha yes... Skinny shaming was this year's thing thanks to nicki minaj and Megan trainer :) thanks media... it's like "I'm naturally skinny and can't help it" media: "no, you're still f****** gross".
Also, not trying to be offensive but all theses women have cx toned stomaches
I think it would be better to realize that while weight is affected by eating patterns, sometimes it isn't. The better campaign would be against eating disorders.
Me being a moderately sized guy prefers a moderately sized gal. Too diddly and frail and I'm afraid I may hurt her accidentally , too big and OOMFY and my insurance agent is gonna call me to give me advice on life decisions.
Unhealthy and carrying extra weight will never be hot no matter how much media tries to push that.
And yet you embrace unhealthy skinny people - because media pushes it... Ironic.
I never said that.
@LittleSally Oh, some fat gal calling skinny people unhealthy. Well, what to expect...
She said "skinny unhealthy" people, she didn't say ALL skinny people are unhealthy and how do you even know her weight.
@GirlsLie Haha Who cares... He can think what he wants. =)
I don't really care. ;) - unlike @someguy97 - you @GirlsLie can actually read. Impressive! ^-^
@GirlsLie @LittleSally I must assume you two are Americans, as only them can be that retarded.
The one who can't read properly is calling others retarded lol
Thank you... i'm American by the way, we're not all slaves to the media. Fitness is sexy! Laziness never was and never will be.
Some people are bigger because of genetics. Others are bigger because medicine affects them in a way that causes them to retain weight.
I agree, a lifestyle of unhealthy behaviors is ugly. But to depreciate women who were born bigger or who are bigger because they can't lose weight without jeopardizing their health in another manner is no different than depreciating someone because of the color of their skin, or some other genetic variance. In essence, I find it wrong. People should be loved for who they are as a person, rather than being loved for their outward appearance. Call it human nature to
like people for their outward appearance, but sometimes, we must forgo our nature so that we as a species can advance our society further. It's no longer "Survival of the Fitness" for humanity. It's "Progress of the Group".
I've never seen a fat animal in the wild. I can't see how some people are inherently fat because of genetics.
There are examples of people with an over productive pancreas that produces too much cortizone, the hormone that is normally triggered by stress that causes fat build up. There are people who have higher percentages of fatty acid synthase, the enzyme that turns sugars into fatty acid chains. These bodily predispositions are due to variances in genes, among other things.
You don't see this in the wild because unlike humans, other animals survive, not thrive. The "problems" I just mentioned above are actually naturally selected traits. Out in the wild, where food supplies are not guaranteed, having a propensity to storing carbs as fat is actually an advantage, as it means that you are more likely to survive a famine, and, therefore, pass on your genes.
Way to pick the most IDEAL examples of these body types.
I think this could have been a lot better.
Everyone's a critic...
This actually made my night. This is fantastic xD You my friend are amazing
Hahaha that's pretty good. You're an alright human @Nice_Guy_Last
I wonder, do the fat girls and white knights who write this piece think that if they declare that being fat is beautiful, fat will be beautiful? Are they that crazy? Or are they just lazy girls/chubby chasers?
Beauty is perceived.
@kxera Keep telling that to yourself.
@kxera No, she's right. It's just that the perception for the vast majority of men in developed countries is that fat is unattractive.
The problem then comes around when millions of women decide it's easier to complain that the media is making men want skinny girls, instead of them simply controlling their eating and getting their fat asses to a gym a few times a week.
Beauty is what society tells us. We need only look at the history of ideal American beauty to see that it shifts from generation to generation, indicating that it is not a predisposition, but rather a thing defined by society.
can you show me solid source to anytime in western civilization where obese was attractive?
Obesity as an eating disorder? No. However, back in the 1500s and 1600s Europe, the image of beauty was considered to be a fair skinned girl, usually on the heavy side.
Lmao
But generally, men do like wider hips. That has been proven. Wide hips=birthing hips. It's not ALL society. And within each time period there have been men who liked, nor adored, what was perceived as unattractive.
It's the individual plus society and their culture.
Good point. I agree @vishna
@vishna
Men like an hourglass shape. Wider hips, slimmer waist, bigger bust.
*Some
At least you don't have much competition for the fat girls, TO.
I like having a wide pool to select from. It helps even more that I am bi, and have the same perspective on men.
And stick thin women don't have this. @RationalMale
@vishna
I love how fat women try to act like it's either fat girls or medically underweight victorias secret models.
And every day, fat girls get ignored or passed by because girls who are slim/fit are gorgeous.
www.radass.com/.../Alexandra-Daddario-01.jpg
You say fat women, like you assume because I'm disagreeing that I'm overweight. Not the case.
Bigger women have been put down in American culture for decades and ads promoting different body types isn't a tactic to get guys like you to like women who aren't slim, it's an attempt to market to other women and represent more than one body type. @RationalMale
Yea, this is total and complete crap. It wouldn't be hot if it was average. Hot is unique, beautiful, and sexy. Average is... none of the above. This is another load of garbage.
Eh, for you maybe. Sorry you have high standards for looks. I only hold people to what kind of person they are, but hey, that's just me.
HEAR HEAR! I SECOND THIS TAKE AND THE "WHO GIVES A FLYING FUCK"!
Only skinny girls are attractive. Not only to me personally, but to most White guys in general.
That's why we prefer skinny White girls or East Asian girls (it's one of the reasons).
I prefer arabian, Indian, latinas and blacks any day over an Asian girl
@Mikeynlade
Good for you. I am still right, though. In real life, on the actual outside, you really only ever see White guys with White girls, or, if we do date inter-racially, with (South) East Asian girls. Even in highly multicultural areas like California.
Yes, there ARE White guys who date Black girls, Indian girls, etc. I've seen them myself. But they're RARE and you know it.
Not where I live. It's mostly white with latinas or arabians, very few with Asians
@Mikeynlade
Most Arab girls in the West are Muslim. I don't know where you live, but a Muslim girl would never date a non-Muslim man. Not if she cares about not being disowned by her family.
Average, by definition, is not great. It's just average. Why celebrate average? There is nothing unique about average. It's boring and mundane.
TESTIFY!
Thank you my friend. You made me want to go work out so I'm not a little smaller than average I've fit and toned and Heathly. Thank you sir.
* you made me want to workout so I'm not unheathly and normal but I want to be fit and Heathly
The second model is clearly by far the hottest one, but she still needs to lose like 15 pounds to be perfect. Her thickness is nice but in the pic it's just a bit too much.
Can you comprehend how much 15 pounds is? It's a shit ton.
Not really a shit ton... I didn't see much difference when I went from 230 to 215. I was just a little less chubby. This girl might have a bit more noticeable change but it wouldn't be a bad thing either.
good for fucking you indeed :p
nice move!
i'm just seeing it as shaming has always been and body "size" is now just a way to start shaming
Haha, for such a short take, this made me pretty happy and I'm not sure why XD
Oh look, another guy trying to invalidate women's insecurities concerning their bodies because he is/other guys are ok with how they look...
Oh look, another person making an assumption based on previous bias and immediate reaction.
I am not invalidating insecurities. I am just making the point that those insecurities shouldn't be based on how men feel, but rather coming from a genuine desire to change themselves for themselves.
"I am just making the point that those insecurities shouldn't be based on how men feel"
"No, this isn't about you. This is about me, a normal guy who likes typical things. You know what I like? I like this"
Nothing in your take said anything about being confident for a genuine desire to change themselves... all you literally did was point at a few pictures and say "THIS. This is what I/men like. Stop feeling insecure/giving a flying fuck."
What I got from this is that of someone doesn't like you, move on. Do not let it get you down, find someone who does like you. Don't change and cry about it for someone who won't even give you a chance based off of looks.
Basically, if YOU are okay with it, that's what really matters.
Feminazi please leave
The thing is... Would you feel that way if the girl was covered in stretch marks from head to toe
Like my ex, who had not only stretch marks, but also scars from operations?
Yes. It really doesn't matter. Big, small, tall, short, black, brown, red, yellow, white? You have my attention. If you think I'm great, and I think you're a great person, then things should work out fine.
That's good to hear :)
"You know why those bodies are hot? Because they belong to a woman."
Hahahahahahaahahahahahaha.
Oh god, that's funny.
Cool. But nobody cares really cares, except for the insecure girls of course.
Most women are insecure, no matter their size lol
Meh, good for them and good for you.
(You an insecure girl? Because you must care just a little to waste the time to read it and write it.)
The girl in the American flag bra is attractive but the rest are not my type.
