Flu Shot: Do you get the yearly flu shot?
What's the reason you do or dont.
I've only gotten the flu twice in my lifetime and I haven't had it for 7+ years, they just reuse old vaccine trains which are not affective because the virus evolves and they never know what the new strain is. Humans build a natural immunity to it but the vaccine poison actually just always makes you sick because it throws off the immunity.
No, I don't.
The flu virus evolves quickly, so getting the flu shot doesn't guarantee that you will not get the flu during the upcoming winter. And (I believe) getting shots will make you ineligible to donate blood for a specified time period.
thanks, i haven't heard about the donation thing
Nah. I've worked with kids for so long my immune system has become fantastic. I got the shot one year and it was the only one I got sick more than once haha
thanks, but its mandatory for me =/
yep.
Yes, I work in a nursing home so its better if I do

yes I do, and always have.
I have also heard that it reduces the chances or risk of heart attacks, not that I'm planning for one, but it helps to know, and it may have also said something about reducing blood pressure, but I can't remember
thanks
I do not cuz its poison and potentially causes cancer. I would rather be in bed with the flu for 3 days than die of pancreatic cancer. Just my opinion though.
i agree, but it mandatory for me to go to school. =/
Nope and probably never will. The last shot I got of any type was probably in the early 70s. That's also the last time I remember going to a doctor for a check-up.
Yes. After getting a really bad flu one winter I decided to start getting them consistently, and I haven't had problems since. The first couple days aren't great, but it's quite worth it after that.
No I don't. I feel it doesn't work for me and the one time I did get the shot, I was sick two weeks later. I would rather fight if off on my own
thanks
I suppose you're referring to the common cold, not actual influenza?
nope the actual flu/influenza shot
haha, thanks
I do yearly, because if I don't I will have to wear a mask the whole flu season. My place of employment demands it.
I hate the mandatory rule
Me also, really pushes my buttons grrrr!
yeps it is
Yes I get the flu shot ever year. I can't risk getting sick during the school year and get behind in all my work lol
I haven't had one in years just never found the time to go get it.
THAnks
No, because I dont know if it's effective, everyone I know who get's one still get's sick.
I get the flu once or twice a year, and it's nothing bad, just fever and weakness for a day.
thanks
No I dont. Mostly cause I dont feel the need, I rarely get the flu
