How to succeed on my diet? I'm afraid to eat more?

I'm 22, girl. I've struggled with my weight for my whole life. I've been underweight, normalweight, overweight and now almost obese. I always end up trying to lose weight by eating as minimal amount calories as possible (300-400 calories/day). Then I get some results until I relapse and binge. I've had bulimia before and sometimes I still throw up after bingeing.

If I try to lose weight by eating 1400-1500 cals/day nothing happens, I can drop 2 pounds on the first week but then it stops. That makes my feel I'm forced to cut down my calorie intake to a low level. I know it's not healthy and it's not working because I don't get permanent results but end up being fatter than at the beginning.

Currently my weight its 176 lbs, height 5'2"
