Am I too tall for a girl?

I'm 15 and 5'6 , its just slightly above the American women height. Yet I feel like a giant as compared to all my friends. They're all noticebly shorter than me and it really makes me feel so self consious.

And would guys prefer someone with my height or would they rather go for the shorter ones?

Not at all only guys who are shorter or maybe the same height might be intimidated by your height, a guy who's taller than you would not care at all, I don't think you have anything to worry about tbh :p just go for taller guys haha

Your challenge is that most 15 year old guys are nowhere NEAR their max height yet. So you may have an awkward couple of years, but it will pass.

Nope. I'm 5'6 and no guy has complained to me about being too tall. Don't worry. And if the guys are still shorter than you (which some of them probably are), most of them will grow past you in a few years.

You're fine. When I was your age I had the same issue grew to 5'9 and girls sorta catched up too , so its alright
