Sure I'm human... We are creatures and few people realize how powerful our natural impulses are but I think 90% of humans would do so if need be. if it were between me and a stranger and winner lives I'd kill off my kind nature and kill them and feed just like any other creature. If it were a friend it'd be much harder and I'd refrain for much longer but eventually would probably give in. If it were my baby sister I'd probably make her eat me to survive, I think in the past there were cases where mothers would cut off portions of their skin to feed to their babies.

A couple of years ago I would've said no. But my love for animals and hate for humans has made that past decision twist.

I'd kill and devour a human in a heart beat if it means my survival. For now, I'll stick to being vegetarian/going for vegan.

Thanks a lot haha. I may seem psychopathic or lacking sympathy for humans, but, the majority I confront in this life have disappointed ten times over in their short existence. Animals dont have a choice, voice, or any chance. And as our numbers grow, theirs are either dwindling or forced in a controlled environment.

Anyway, done ranting. I'm sure there's several who wish to deny responsibility for our actions. there's always something we can do for the better.

Yep, I've seen what people are capable of, makes me ashamed to be human. Think, for every animal sanctuary there are a hundred slaughter houses. The sanctuary will be able to keep a few dozen animals alive in 10 years, a slaughterhouse will kill tens of thousands of animals in 10 years. But anyway getting off topic heh.

If it's like the plane crash in the Andes and every one knew each other it would be hard to eat a friend. They laid them face down so they wouldn't recognize them. Now during WW2 St Petersburg Russia (I don't remember what it was called during the war) the Germans starved the city for almost 2 years and families would trade dead relatives and pets because it was too difficult to eat one's own. The numbers show 900 or so people committed cannibalism. I would do it if I had to I just hope that I'm with stranger's not people I know.

I became obsessed with cannibalism when I was about 14, I'm familiar with the story you're talking about. I noticed that most cannibals were women that includes small tribes in remote jungles. All the famous ones are men but the numbers don't lie. St. Petersburg during the war was mostly women the able-bodied men were a way at war. Out of 900 people , 700 were women trying to keep their families alive. The Donner party that got stuck in the Sierra Nevada, out of 87 people 48 were left half were women. One woman that sparked my interest Nancy Graves who was only 9 during the ordeal had to eat her mother and brother. 9 years old!! Most 9yr olds wouldn't even eat a vegetable. I'm still trying to get more information about Russian cannibalism that information has only been available to the public for a few years. Interesting topic , not common , I like it.

I took out of that women are like cats, if you die around them... they eat you. People were tougher back then, and living during the great war I'm sure would be desensitizing. But still for a 9 year old to eat her family, I wonder what she was like after the war ended and everything settled.

I couldn't live with myself. I'm extremely emotional fragile so I know if I ended up doing that to survive, soon after I'd commit suicide from guilt. Even if it was an already dead person the guilt would consume me (pun not intended) later on.

I think if I was put in that position of desperation to survive. I could grub on a person without thinking twice. No matter what you think about cannibalism, or eating raw meat in general, your mindset will change in a situation that is literally life or death.
