I am planning to start Accutane any experiences people willing to share?

I have got moderate Acne and it depends on the day, it is bad some days other days its not bad, I talked to my neighbor who is a dermatologist and he said more then the acne is the scars which I have a lot of so he said all put you on Accutane to stop the Acne and then all give you cremes and whatnot after to deal with the scars, I wanted to know peoples experience with Accutane is it something you constantly take and does it really help?

It's amazing! I love it and it cleared up my skin so well!!! It helped with scaring and now if I get any acne it's small and manageable and rare! You only take it up to 8 months normally it's 6 and then it's amazing, clearing up skin easily. The first week or so the first thing you may notice is MORE acne, but this is because it's pushing out the last of the nasty pimple oils. After that it basically stops the production of acne at it's source. The most common symptom is dry skin. My lips peeled off in layers buuuuut, get a good Chapstick and it's no problem. I absolutely recommend it! It made me confidet enough to feel beautiful as not have to hide behind my curly hair!!! Do it! That's what I say!

Please I need to ask you, im on Accutane, my acne is not bad but I have lots of small ones, I have an oily skin really oily and I have on my back, im on my 6 days, the first day I got around 5 pimples on my neck and till now just a few popped, is it normal that im not having any pimples?

You don't put on Accutane; it's an oral medicine. It also sucks, but it works wonders. You get dry skin, mega mood swings, pretty much every bad side effect there is in the world. BUT, it clears the hell out of your skin. I'd say it's worth it
