Lots of face and shoulder/back acne. How can I get rid of it?

I have lots of acne on my face and shoulders and back. I have tried lots of different washes and medicines but nothing has made a noticeable difference.
I should probably mention that I have endometriosis and I have to take hormone pills which are supposed to help with the endometriosis. I'm blaming the pills for some of it, but even before I was diagnosed, I had really bad acne.

Have you tried apple cider vinegar? You can pour one top of apple cider vinegar to your water. It starts the cleansing process inside You can also dab apple cider vinegar to your face and back. If its too strong mix in a bit of water and then dab to your face.

Apple cider vinegar restore skin back to its ph balance. Your skin is suppose to have somewhat of an acidic environment, and is that acidic environment that don't let acne bacteria thrive. It will eliminate current blemishes and prevent any from forming. It has done me wonders.

Neutrogena oil free acne body wash is great, u should try it out:)

I've tried it before and it dried my skin out a lot. I have an army of other things I use and they don't make a difference. I will keep looking at them, though. I may even try the Neutrogena stuff again (it's worth a shot. Even if it dries me out, at least I'll know).

Oh yeah it can dry it out, just use a moisturizer after that's dermatologist tested, it will keep your skin looking more youthful too, I'm 31 and have skin like a teenager:)

Hate to be so negative but lotion just makes my skin oily. I can't win!

Your best to talk to your doctor about a pill form medication that you could try
for your acne but you got make sure it will not interact with your hormone pills

That's the problem. My pediatrician and the specialist said the pills would cause acne, but nothing I couldn't control. Well, I can't control it. So last time the specialist's nurse called (to see how things are going and to plan an appointment) my mom asked about acne and she said something about how prescriptions for acne would contradict some of what the BCP does. The BCP doesn't help anyway, so why should it matter?

Roaccutane sorted me and quite a few people I know out.

yeah but you can get it from a good doctor, you just need a blood test first.

Blood test? Last time I had to have an IV, it took 4 nurses and an ultrasound machine. Even then, they couldn't get it.

Oh, in that case, I should be fine. My doctor has dealt with me a lot in the past 3 months with endometriosis crap and knows pretty well how everything is working.

I figured the bcp would help with acne. Can you get to a dermatologist?

Um... maybe? With the endometriosis stuff going on, I don't know if my mom would stop being stubborn long enough to pay for a trip to a dermatologist.

I use tea tree oli. Yes oil. I have not one pimple.

Glad I'm not the only one! I posted another question a while ago about pain remedies, so you may want to look at that. Look at the most helpful. It really was helpful information, although nothing really helps me.

I keep my heating pad around with me! It helps! With everything I'm also anemic so that sucks

😕 I get light headed a lot and black out for a few seconds sometimes. Take iron supplements before you get anemic. I'm pale and it gets worse when it's my time of the month.

Ugh :-/ I've blacked out before and I've gotten sick just from the pain and I get lightheaded pretty easily anymore. My mom takes iron because of anemia so I'll take a tiny bit of that every once in a while and hopefully that'll keep me in good shape.
