I need pointers on an acne problem?

I have an extreme asthma problem, and other issues come with it if it is bad enough. When asthma is more serious, there is a large production of mucus. This can be in the tear ducts (eye boogers) nostrils, and in the throat. On occasion I drool like everyone does, and it is worse with this phlegmy crap, and it has started causing me to get acne around my chin and nose area as well as the part where your forehead meets the nose-is there a way to prevent getting acne, besides just cleaning the face?

Taking hot showers before bed and drinking a lot of water during the day can minimize it, but only dermatologist can completely get rid of it.

Well, don't have any of those near me, would have to make a pretty long trip which I wouldn't really get the chance to do. But I really do appreciate the advice

I had bad acne when I was younger, I tried everything I could find online, I tried doctors. In the end a good dermatologist sorted me out.

Where I am, it is a smaller place, we have orthodontists, and normal doctors, maybe like one gynecologist, and a running hospital, but most of the time-people are sent to bigger places like Spokane or Seattle where I'm at-which won't happen. But I really do appreciate it
