But losing weight is extremely simple. Exercise at least three times a week for an hour and eat balanced meals. A proper plate should consist of 1/2 veggies or fruit, 1/4 complex carb (such as brown rice, quinoa or wheat bread, etc), and your protein should be the size of your palm. For exercise I think weight lifting is most effective (don't worry about getting bulky, women lack the necessary hormones to get muscles like men), I think it's more effective because it burns calories long, and build lean muscle which burns calories by just existing. If you want bigger muscles (example, larger butt or arms) then do heavy weighted exercises with low reps (low weight high rep) and if you want smaller leaner muscle do low weights high rep (this basically toned preexisting muscle. And add about 20mins of cardio of your choice. This is what I find most affective but great at home workouts like blogilates or tone it up on YouTube are great and free.
Staying motivated us hard, but I suggest making a vision board. It sound stupid but it works (mine has a picture if my setting or before body and next to it are a bunch of pictures of my dream body) seeing how far I had come or was going really set the tone of my day and reminded me what I was working for. I also keep one picture of my dream body on the fridge so that it reminds me to make smart choices about what I'm eating

First of all, how tall are you? 139 pounds may be a good weight for you depending on your height. If you find that you aren't at a healthy weight in relation to your body shape and height, then try a simple exercise routine that uses cardio and weight training. If you're not used to exercising, start off slow and work your way into more activity. Eat healthier and cut out sugary drinks like soda and replace them with water. Limit your sweet food consumption too.

Just remember that losing weight will not happen overnight and being at a healthy weight for your body is the most important thing.

Everything is in your mind! Stop eating processed food. Stick to natural food, more on vegetables. As less as possible sugar!!! Sugar is poison.

Stay at healthylifestyle, have more meals 5x per day. But 5x means not to much. This are small meals (not large).

It would be hard, but if you want it hard you'll achieve it. Start running and you need to get wet a lot during running. YouTube have many posts, but remember... you can find a lot of great articles online, but on a lot of sites you've got marketing, they just want $$$. Don't be trapped in this.

Remember : Eat Healthy - natural food, drink a lot of water, have 5x meals per day (not big meals). No sugar or just a little sugar (you get sugar from vegetables too) , stay away from fast food and sugary drinks!

there is /nothing/ wrong with sugar. What he means is processed foods and sweets. Fruits have high levels of fructose in them, but it's fine.

Then you should watch documentary - Fed Up and you'll be shocked! Yeah, but the problem is that in more then 80% of articles in store it's added sugar. Even to bread.

I weighed about 139 lbs when I was 13 too and I was about 5'5, but I never considered myself over weight, neither did my friends, they all thought I weighed less than them. I recommend that you join an active sport, for instance, I play volleyball and after a month of it, I lose about 10 lbs without dieting. Also, I don't believe in dieting, I believe in exercise. If you want to eat, then eat, just make sure you burn the calories by doing something active.

Depending on your height losing the weight is going to extremely harm you. If you /really/ want to lose the weight you need to talk to your doctor and get a registered dietitian. Because of your age, any diet changed can stunt you growth and development.

Cut calories from junk food, eat at least 5 healthy small meals, drink plenty of water, sleep 8 hrs and exercise start by walking and don't stress out
