When you are on your period does it make it a bit "risky" ?
Do you girls have to wake up early in the morning to change pads/tampons?
When you are on your period does it make it a bit "risky" ?
Usually during the night, you don't bleed much so it's not a problem to wake up early and change. But the minute I stand up, I feel a rush of blood as it leaves my body and onto the pad... That's when you rush to the bathroom lol TMI but whatever. for me it's kinda like a half filled bottle, when you sleep at night the bottle is tilted sideways hence little to no blood leaves but blood kinda get ready to rush when you stand. Kinda like tilting a bottle of water from the side, straight up. If that makes sense. Probably freaked you out there... My bad
This is a really great explanation. Thanks. It wasn't TMI.
thank youu :)
When I'm on my period. I usually wake up early in the morning to have my shower and change my pad. Because damn I've been wearing it all night and it's kind of gross being on your period. And if you don't change your pad when it's filled with blood it starts to smell. Because period blood is yucky. Well when I'm on my period I have my bath up to 4 times a day
Yes, sometimes :P if my period is heavy then I can feel it getting "full" down there and have to force myself to get out of my warm bed and embrace the cold, early morning. It sucks! Especially if you have cramps and can't fall back asleep :(
Can you actually feel that it's full? What is it like?
Hmm, it's like if you soaked a tampoon or napkin in water and put it in your nose you could tell that it was full. Does that make sense? like it feels heavy and full.
Yeah i think I get what you mean :) didn't think that pads can get that heavy
Well yeah pads and tampoons both.
Perhaps it's a good idea to bring something with you to bed the night before, so you don't have to stand up the next morning :]
Well it's hard to change a pad/tampon horizontally, especially because you don't want drips/ leakage. Also, you would need to flush it/ through the used one away.
It's hard being a girl. Lol. And while we're on the topic I'll be starting my period soon so I have this to look forward to :P
It's a matter of practice , dear :D look we also have to deal with sudden erections in public.
Lol yeah I would hate that if I were a guy. But at least you don't get menstral cramps which feel like a Charlie horse in your uterus :P
O. o i know... But pills, they help!
True... but mine might be too strong, they make me fall asleep.
I'm sorry to hear that. I'm bit sure of it has anything to do with sex but try to change your habits a bit. Like if you've been moderating yourself try to have more fun , or the other way around. But I guess it sounds stupid doesn't it? I'm thinking this because both sex and periods are strongly related to hormones
I'm not sure*
Haha wait, sorry, what are you suggesting? My pills make me fall asleep because the side effect is drousyness.
No, I was wondering whether the amount of sex you're having influences your menstrual pains
Oh! I see. Well, I usually have pretty bad cramps no matter what. Exercising and sex can actually help ease the pain for a little while maybe but they don't do much. Although, I get pretty horny during my period so sex/masturbation feels 10x better than usual.
So your activities will take your attention away from the pains :) and keep in mind that there are many guys who explicitly like period sex. By horny do you mean sex only or rather the "mood to cuddle" type?
Really? Period sex only? I can't even imagine but I guess there's every type of person out there. And hmm... good question. I guess I'd say just sex, sorry, I wish I could say cuddling because the idea of it sounds sweet but unless we're having sex than I'll just be moody/in pain/bloated/not wanting to be touched. After sex would be fine though... maybe if he wanted to cuddle and watch a movie while I had a hearing pad on or something that would be pretty nice.
No, not that they only and exclusively like period sex. But they like it. Well, for sex I'm natural to periods but generally it turns me on of I know that she's having her days.
So it turns you on to know she's on her period? Can you tell me what turns you on about it.
Because it's feminine and such things turn me on. It's like long hair, wide hips and high voice etc.
Okay I see.
Were you surprised?
Yes and no. Your answer makes sense but I just thought you were going to say something else.
oh, what were you thinking of exactly?
Well I had a few guesses. One is that it's bloody and girls bleed when they have sex for the first time so maybe it was like a fetish for having sex with virgins? Another idea is that it's kind of taboo so thinking about having sex with a girl on her period is a turn on or you know it makes her feel good since she's extra horny which makes you horny too? Or, if it's not about having sex with her, maybe you like the thought of her putting a tampon up there? Or even more innocent, it turns you on because maybe you feel you want to comfort her during that time. Also there's a study that guys are attracted to girls on their periods because of a certain smell they produce. Sounds weird, but it's a real study.
I love comforting her if she's bleeding, that is very very true. I do it other ways as well, like doing surprises, chocolate, being even more kind to her than usually, cuddle, talk, love etc. If she likes that, then I'm more than happy to do so. I love comforting girls in general.
Well, it is kinda possible to smell if someone is not changing her thing there. If the smell is mild, then it's sexy. But if it's too much then it's too much.
Aww, that's so sweet of you. You sound like a very caring and thoughtful boyfriend. Any girl would be lucky to have you :) and I totally agree on the smell part. Sometimes it's too much and just nasty.
thank you :) This is what makes me happy. But to be honest, I don't like it so much if a girl "only" wants sex as you mentioned. I mean, it's not that I have something against it but it makes me feel a bit worthless or so and I get turned off (even though I don't want it to happen.. but it just does). Do you think it's ok to ask a girl to have something more than just sex?
Do you mean you don't like it when she only wants sex and not the other stuff during her period? Or you don't like it when she only wants sex, period?
The second one. So I prefer to do more emotion games, talks and to be more open. But now I see that it's not possible to ask someone to "please have mood for this and that". So if she doesn't like to something then I shouldn't ask for it, right?
sorry if it's hard to understand me, but it's also hard to describe what I mean. And I don't want to be so harsh with my words.
Ummm... please be harsh with your words, I don't understand what you're saying at all, sorry!
So you said that you are horny during your period and you don't want to cuddle but you prefer sex only. I'm asking whether it's ok to ask a girl to cuddle anyway? Because well to be honest it's hard for me to get strong erection and proper sex if we don't do sweet things like that. And the sweetness should come really from heart. (Am I weird for this , by the way? )
Oh! Okay. That's not weird at all. Of course you can ask for that! Most girls would probably love cuddling. Personally, I just feel kind of gross on my period so it's sort of an insecurity thing I guess but yeah totally normal for you.
Why the insecurity? When my ex had her period, I never cared about the pad wings nor the blood when she slept next to me. And she didn't have pajamas or anything but panties. And I even gave her oral sex on those days and fingered inside the panties. I did it because I did love her.
First she was also anxious and insecure about the thing. But then I told her that it's one hundred percent natural and I won't "dislike" her for something like that, no. I love a girl just the way she is and give the most I can. I don't want to "give up" things just because of something that she can't do anything against.
* "reject" is perhaps a better word instead of "giving up" and describes what i mean
I think the insecurity first comes from the worry that guys won't understand since you don't experience a period yourselves. Also, I feel unattractive during my period because of bloating and feeling achy and stuff. But that's really cool of you to not care about it.
Noone has to experience periods in order to have respect to girls. I think it's called unconditional love. Bloating, I don't think that it's true as you think. If you seem less attractive then that's because you have less self confidence. And if someone has less self confidence it's possible to realize. And it's not necessarily good. So heads up, we love you girls the way you are :)
I don't know. Why are you so concerned anyways? I don't even ask my own girlfriend that.

Haha yeah, there are different pads (I only use pads) that have a larger/wide.. End/part so if it "leaks" it's not going to go all over the bed 😐 yeah I know gross, I would wake up if I feel icky and I would go change it.. It's annoying, but it is what it is, and It's just being hygienic to..
Lol weird question and yes I personally change when I wake up in the morning I have too I feel nasty if I don't
Does your own period smell bad to you? Because if I have sperm on my pajamas after night time ejaculation I think it smells actually nice
no it don't I guess it all depends how you eat and what you eat then it will if you eat well then ithere should be no reason for it to smell bad I guess
I heard smoking makes it yellow. True? 🚬
I don't know if that's true I never heard it turns yellow I'm not sure im not a smoker 😏
You're supposed to wear a pad at night because if you wear a tampon too long, you could get toxic shock syndrome. I just do it when I wake up
I usually stay up pretty late so I change my tampon before I sleep and early the next morning. I don't like wearing pads because they irritate my skin and I usually leak from a heavy flow. I shower every day on my period too.
Wow I wonder hiw did that pop up in ur mind
but no we don't
my days r not that bloody any ways
It just popped out , I don't know :D I just wanted to ask something like this because I find it fun and sweet :)
I have to wee in the morning anyways so I just do it then and then get back into bed all clean and comfy.
No, we don't. You bleed more if we move around so at night, since we aren't running round the place, we don't bleed as much so, don't need to change pads/tampons as much.
Hmmmm yes whatever i wake up i hace to change it nor nesesarily , in the morning
I never ever wear pads. I just change tampon when I wake up.
It's not nice to stay in bed, with a pad you have been wearing all night..
No. I don't even know when my period happens.
As soon as I wake up I change my pad/tampon.
No they leave it for one month...
