I think weight lifting is most effective (don't worry about getting bulky, women lack the necessary hormones to get muscles like men), And muscle burns calories by just existing. If you want bigger muscles (example, larger butt or arms) then do heavy weighted exercises with low reps (low weight high rep). This forces the muscle to expand or grow. and if you want smaller leaner muscle do low weights high rep (this basically toned preexisting muscle. This is what I find most affective but great at home workouts like blogilates or tone it up on YouTube are great and free.

I walk on a treadmill wearing low (2-3 inch) wedges and I can te you my butt has never been bubblier. Just do it for half an hour a day, four times a week
Not female hopefully that's obvious however doing flutter kicks builds your core as well as lower body not to mention hey absolutely free!!! Also jumping rope I don't know how soothing that'd be with breasts but it builds on stamina and full body and jump rope relatively cheep!!! Then there's swimming laps peilei of fully body workout!!! Get on your hands and knees and lift your legs backwards as high as you can. Also squats might work better/faster if you are holding some weights while you do it

that's cause you don't have enough testosterone in your body to grow muscles as rapidly as men. Muscle building is a long process, its a marathon not a sprint.Go on YouTube and search blogilates.
She's annoying as hell but she has some good strengthening videos for all areas of the body.Are you using weights with your squats? Adding resistance really helps boost progress after you've gotten your body used to the workout
