Tampons or pads?

Which are more sanitary, convenient?
Which do you use?
I've tried both, I want to know which is better for my health.. I'm 14.

Wouldn't pads be more sanitary because with a pad the discharge is outside and leaving your your body more, with a tampon you are forcing the discharge to stay inside your body more. So wouldn't it be better and more heathy for your body to use pads. Don't that this as fact, it is just a thought but I would have thought pads would be more healthy but I do not know. Also make sure you do not flush pads or tampons at home or in public toilets or in any toilet as they can easily block the plumbing and some poor person ends up having to clear out pads or tampons that are covered in blood or if that does not happen flushing pads or tampons can mean they end up in the sea and float up on beach when people are at the beach or even block other people's toilets down the street. Flushing either only causes problems.

I prefer pads unless I'm working out or swimming or something.

They are both safe and healthy but I prefer tampons.
