Is 112 pounds a lot? Guys, does this seem like too much for a girl? Can you carry girls who are this weight ( just a weird question)?

I'm 5 6" and im practically 18. Is that a lot to weigh? I stopped eating lunch and snacks entirely and i think I've lost weight. But is that still too much? Just wondering what your opinion is..

No. That is not a lot. And for 5'6" that's really skinny. Like you may need to gain weight. Where I'm from most girls that are your height weigh around 135-140 lb. and they don't have any problems getting guys

You don't need to lose weight, especially for guys. Think about your health before you worry about what guys will think

Its more that its because of a guy that this all started, but not to get them. Thats not why. I've lost about 14 pounds. Is that a lot?

Yes. And that's really not healthy based on your height. Believe it or not, we need some fat on our body.

This guy, who ever he is, knows nothing and is an ass to tell you you need to lose weight when you're already that thin. If it's because he couldn't lift you, that's his problem and tell him to eat a protein bar. Because he needs to build muscle. And not be such a baby about not being able to lift you ( most guys can lift at least that much, most of the time more because the testosterone in their body helps them build muscle).

if you really feel that self conscious about your body try working out. You will gain some weight but it will be lean muscle which takes up less space than fat.

And something I forgot to tell you. By not eating your going to actually gain weight later because when you do eat your body will store it as fat because it doesn't know when it will get food again, and fat is food reserves for your body to use later.

Not eat also slows down your metabolism which means your body burns fewer calories to try to conserve energy to use for later. Which means it's easier to gain weight and harder to lose later on

Not at all, that's actually on the unhealthy side. You should be at least 120lbs at that height. You're not too far over into the underweight side so it's not that bad but you certainly shouldn't be looking to lose any more weight.

You shouldn't be concerned about your weight. It's not healthy to be concerned about your weight when you're not anywhere near being over-weight. You shouldn't skip lunch, either. Don't get weird about food. Too many girls get weird about food and get sick because of it.

I didn't start this because i felt weird about food. Its because this guy told me that he only wanted to be friends after we dated (it was like twice but we talked a lot and he acted like he really liked me...) and that hurt and thats the closest I've ever gotten to someone liking me (or at least essentially telling me they did) and I don't know what to do now. Is that really that bad? What's wrong with skipping lunch?

I COULD easily carry two of you, but that doesn't mean I'd want to. I tend to favor athletic women, so you're probably too small for my taste. I like watching the definition of a toned woman move through physical activity like rock climbing or hiking and at 112/ 5'6" I'm finding it hard to believe I'd be into your look. Skipping meals? You can lose weight by skipping meals and not snacking but you do need to have sufficient calories everyday.

Anyway difficult to assess without a photo as to whether weight loss is necessary and also a body scale / composition report.

Seriously? It sounds like you're actually underweight for your height. I'm 5'5" and I weigh 120 and I'm still skinny. And also, if you did want to lose weight, cutting out meals completely is the WORST way to do it. Your body needs nutrition.

If anything you bmi is low or normal. Skipping meals will hurt you more than it helps. It slows your metabolism and makes it easier to gain weight. You should be lightly snacking through the day.

And 112 is nothing to carry. Most guys can carry anyone lighter than themselves.
