Math questions?
also the distance which I ran is 5.714 I want to reach 10 miles, how long will that take
2 hrs/300 cal = x hrs/550 cal solving for x: x= 3.66 hours
2 hrs/300 cal = y hrs/800 cal solving for y: y=5.33 hours
y - x = 1.66 hours left to burn 800 calories when you've already burned 550 calories.
10 miles-5.714 miles = 4.286 miles left
assuming you run at your peak 3.9 mph:
1 hr/3.9 miles = x hours/4.286 miles solving for x: x = 1.09 hours
assuming you run your slowest 3.6 mph:
1 hr/3.6 miles = x hours/4.286 miles solving for x: x= 1.19 hours
So roughly, it should take you an hour and six minutes to reach 10 miles after running 5.714 miles...
Got any more math questions? LOL!
of coarse my answers are just approximations. This is assuming that everything is linear and there will be NO CHANGE in your workout habits (no breaks, you constantly burn 150 calories in an hour, etc). My answers are based on linear approximations.
1 hour and 40 minutes running at the pace of 3.6-3.9 mph and you would have traveled around 6.250 miles which would be a total of 11.964 miles.
I love it when girls know math :)
Thanks! :) @snowboarder720
I went for both 800 calories and 10 miles
Oh I see that now @snowboarder720
