Are my breasts getting better or worse?

I have a bump on the bottom of my left breast. It was a red painful sore. I put some expired anti-bacterial cream on it not knowing whether or not it would work cause the bacterial creme was for a foot infection that I had 3 years ago. It seemed to make my breasts hurt more than before, then I wiped off the bacterial creme. Now the breast is less painful than it was when I woke up this morning.

So is it getting better or worse?
And is the anti-bacterial creme is helping?

My doctor lives 3 hours away so I don't want to visit the doctor. It is also super cold outside and I don't want to bus for 3 hours to see him.

Never use an expired medicine.
The cause of the sore might be something else rather than bacterial infection and you should get it checked rather than taking unnecessary treatments by yourself (Self-medication).

For now take anti-inflammatory and painkiller medicine like Diclofenac sodium + Paracetamol combination for pain relief and to reduce the swelling.

Then first thing you'll have to do is get it checked by a Doctor.

I hope you're clear that it's not something serious like a cancer lump lol, i know those don't get red or sore but.
I think as for a skin irritation, you can quit all the creams and just clean it with soap and even apply astringent or just clean with dettol , savlon for anti bacterial effect. and give it time. it should be better. Do this twice daily. it should get near to perfect on the 3rd day.

Haha yeah i know but who cares for that one second pain, My personal phenomenon has been to just keep it clean and dry... this automatically helps it return to normal.
I have a clear skin, whenever any pimple ever popped out , I made it go away withing 2 days maximum by just keeping it ultra clean and dry, i would use soap 3 or 4 times a day and keep it dry.
It really just heals and vanishes fast.
Its been a lot of time.. so would did u do anyway? is it gone?

Have you not got a friendly Chemist/Pharmacy nearby that you could visit and discuss this with.. Am more than sure they would be able to help you, or at least advice you.

It doesn't hurt anymore but before it was inside the bump where it hurt.

Well without seeing it (and no i am not asking!!). Hard to advise but i would get more cream, watch it theough weekend and if not continuing to get better i would call doc on Monday at a minimum. Nothing to play around with.
