So what would you prefer?
Guys can answer too according to their preference on their girlfriend/wife.
Thanks :)
Natural birth because it makes subsequent births easier.
C sections can be very dangerous and require a lot of healing.
Also, I want to more involved in easing the child into the world (maybe even grabbing under the arms and pulling the baby close to me-yes I saw this on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, it was a sweet moment, don't judge haha)
However, I like my vagina in the state it's in and I really don't want to become wide from birthing a big headed child. Still, there's always a good stapler.
Wise choice :)
at least staplers are relatively cheaper compared to CS..! haha
it's called as 'Husband's stitch'
Your vagina won't go back to a fully normal state in relation to rugosities but you can able to reduce the diameter of your vagina by it. I've given those stitches to 2-3 patients.
by the way haven't seen you on here from a very long time, good to have you back :)
yeah, I just passed the final year and currently working as an internship Doctor in the hospital :)
You're only supposed to have a C section if absolutely necessary, a C section for no medical reason is more risky than it needs to be.
Vaginal birth is more painful sure, but I would rather be conscious for the experience.
still many people get it done for not to affect their sex life.
1. At the outset, my young friend please allow me to thank you for keeping the question open to both genders :)
2. In my generation I've known girls to opt for the C section than natural delivery for various reasons with a few I know for sure listed below
2.1. Avoid the pain & complications if any (layman's understanding i. e. theirs)
2.2. To keep their body shape in place
2.3. To ensure that the child is born at a particular time to benefit the child & parents
2.4. etc :)
The body is made to recover from natural birth, although it may hurt it still beats having surgery and leaving a huge scar on your stomach until it heals properly. C-sections should only be emergency situations.
like I've said on the other opinions, many people wants to get delivered by CS for not to affect their sex life in the future.
Normal birth stretches up vagina upto 10-11 cms during delivery, and the vagina can't regain it's normal pre pregnant diameter after a Normal delivery.
thanks for your opinion though :)
but the rugosities of the vaginal walls won't return to the pre pregnant level so as a guy you won't get same pleasure as before.
Same goes for your wife, she will feel less compared to before.
that's good bruh, I hope more people would realize that life is more besides sex.
by the way I wasn't defending those who prefer CS for sexual purposes. haha
don't get me wrong, I was just explaining why some people prefer that.
No hard feelings, man.

Would anyone in their right mind prefer a C section? People are just insane
C-sections are awesome, for when the mother and child would die otherwise, but they're still major surgery with all the risks of it. Having a huge scar all over you belly has to be painful to heal. C sections are also not a modern invention, they're ancient, just that usually the mother wouldn't make it
I know vagina birth isn''t a piece of cake either, but that's the way it's supposed to be.
My mum's had both. She insists that although natural birth was painful, she preferred it because she knew when I was born whereas when she had a C-section, she didn't. Plus, she was recovering from an operation and had to look after children at the same time. I don't know, I'm kinda scared of the pain of a natural birth, cause I can't handle pain very well, but hey, I think I'd probably prefer to do it naturally.
Both sound terrible. Natural birth would hurt like nothing else during it, but at least you would recover quicker without the scars that you'd have if you had a C-section. I'm not sure.
They give spinal anesthesia if you're afraid of pain during natural vaginal birth but if you'd have some factors which causes delayed Labour, then the baby can damage your perineal area, that's why doctors prefer an episiotomy.
I'd rather keep $10,000 and do naturally, recovery time is less as well , I did have a epidural so having to be really careful of falling and being dependent on the nurses was out of comfort zone.
haha true... true!!! :P
I am posted in gynecological department currently for my internship :)
My mom and sister (who she was birthing) almost died from the Csection. I'll take my risk with Natural Vaginal birth. I'm still going to take all the medication I can though to reduce the pain. I'm definitely not into the idea of home birth
I'm terrified of pregnancy and child birth, but in the off chance that I ever did decide to have a child myself, I would probably have to do C-section because both my brother and I were C-section, I got stuck when my mom tried natural birth.
I had a natural birth. I didn't have an epidural and my son was born in 6 hours. Pro... it was a fast birth. Con... anesthesiologist was too busy that night for the epidural
All n all... wasn't too bad
How about neither 😥
Its very painful don't you think 😷 lol
lol both are painful but the happiness of bringing a life to this earth outweighs that pain.
I've seen mothers who were literally crying because of joy, after delivery.
Yes the happiness at that moment I priceless... hope to experience one day... maybe :p.
Natural birth. I'll only get a C-section if it's absolutely necessary. That's major abdominal surgery that I don't care to have for no reason.
C-Section, for my understanding is because there is complications, no?
not all the time but many people prefer ir.
check out some of my comments here on the questio.
Natural birth.
And I thought you were going to sleep?
Having insomnia :(
Suggestions? :P
Except gynae ones.
Yeap :P
Thanks lol
Natrual.
C-section can prevent you from having more children and isn't good for you.
Medical Transporter! en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/Medical_transporter
I think natural in a hospital environment is proper.
natural birth, the only reason i will get a C-section is if there are complications
As a guy, I prefer C section for obvious reasons XD.
Neither. I couldn't handle giving birth.
hahaha, adoption would be a good option then :P
I'm not quite of a person that would die to be a parent. I'd rather not, to be honest. Kids aren't my thing. :)
Owkay , thanks for the honest opinion by the way.
No prob. :)
Natural birth.. . in a swimming pool.
I've yet to watch an underwater delivery.
Why do you prefer it more compared to Natural one?
Adoption! The planets already over populated as is
Most definitely a C section :P
any specific reason for getting that?
I have a small pelvis. I really can't see the point of the baby damaging my private part and havin the doctor to sew me up. It's a disgusting thought.
That's one of the absolute indications for CS. thanks for your opinion by the way :)
i don't know... both are scary :O!
