So, I've kind of gotten tired of seeing the debates on here regarding which female shape is "the best" so I thought I would ask this to hopefully promote some body positivity for ALL body types. So, tell me your body shape and one feature you love about your body :) Guys, feel free to answer as well with whatever you prefer.

Below are some common female body shapes. Personally, I would probably be somewhere in between a rectangle and a triangle. I really love my legs, that's probably my favorite feature on myself :)

So let's stop the competition about what's the most desired size, shape, height, weight, tit size, ass size, etc. The beauty of a woman is not in a facial mole. I'm far from an hourglass shape but I'm not insecure. That's the point of this though, a woman doesn't have to be an hourglass shape in order to be attractive. We're all different, nothing wrong with that.

But my point was that people who aren't already secure with themselves will always compare and find something to pick at themselves over.

Unrelated to your post and not directed at you, but that's why I kind of laugh at people complaining about what the media displays, saying that it ruins their SELF-esteem. They're basically looking outwards for other people to help them fix themselves.

Yeah, I understand what you're saying and I agree. The point of this was just to try to prove that there are many different body types in the world and that's okay. We can't all be hourglass shapes. Lol

I'd say I'm probably a cross between hourglass/pear?
I have a smallish waist, definite hips. My shoulders aren't really wide? But I've definitely got boobs. So yeah, I'll settle on a pear/hourglass hybrid. :P

Somewhere between hourglass and inverted triangle I think. My shape is a little weird. I have bigger boobs, a flat stomach, but smaller hips and big legs. So I don't really know what category that is.

haha! I can't really relate to that aspect. Mine are small so they don't get much attention at all. I'm sure that's probably really frustrating for you at times though. Awesome that they look good though :)

Sometimes it is kinda handy though. One time I was talking to a guy and he flirted a little, but then he suddenly said "I've been wondering this the whole time, but, what is your cupsize?". And I was like "byee". So they also indicate what kind of guys are not good for you.

I thought the triangle and pear shape were the same thing. I'm the triangle shape and I love my stomach because even when I eat a lot it remains small.

I think pear shapes have wider hips and thicker thighs. Triangle shapes have slightly wider hips than their top half but it's not to the same scale as pear shapes. At least that's what I've always heard. Lol

according to the chart I'm a triangle but I usually say I'm pear shaped. The pear shape on your chart is bigger than I am.

My body has changed over time. At first it was a banana shape but now it's changing to an hour glass. I work hard at the gym everyday so that's probably why.

Of course. The hourglass shape is more about the ratio between your bust/hips and your waist. If you have a well defined waist and it's smaller than your bust or hips, then you're an hourglass shape :)

Yeah, I feel your pain. I have a hard time finding pants or dresses that look good on me because of my body type. My legs are really long and I don't have a defined shape so it's hard to find pants that fit in the waist and are also long enough. Most dresses just hang off of my figure too because I don't have much of a chest or a slim waist. Lol
