What is the best treatment for acne? Do you use lotion that you can buy off the shelf? Does it work? What is it specifically?

I used to use noxema, clean and clear, and Clearasil. Not all at once though, through the years. None really cleared my skin but it helped it. I guess it went away by itself. It all depends on what kind of skin do you have? Is it oily, dry, or both.

see a dermatologist if you haven't. a lot of people start with benzoyl peroxide and clindamycin, which i think you can get over the counter.
