Ask your chiropractor what they recommend for you personally based on how severe your case is.
I was at mine tonight and he said how important it is to be active in general. I bike and hike and swim and lift weights. I have scoliosis too and have noticed I don't have as much pain as I used to since I started focusing on fitness. Crunches, lunges, squats, maybe back extensions too.
It's also important to remember to stand up straight as much as you can, don't slouch.

Find a really good physical therapist. There are a ton of exercises to correct posture. For one

A lot of correcting posture is done through STRETCHING and STRENGTHENING if you can understand the functionality of the body and how opposing muscles work, you will have a good idea of how to correct your posture. ALSO I believe scoliosis is correctable through these methods. Best of luck let me know if you need any more information.
Since this is very critical for your back, as a gym instructor with a degree in physiotherapy. Wrong exercises may ruin it more.

I did planks for the middle and lower parts of my back and back wide grip rows to help bring those shoulders back. Another exercise would be before you leave the house stand against a wall, making sure your back, butt and shoulders touch the wall for 20 seconds.
You should talk to a physical therapist or orthopedist. They'll know which exercises are most effective for correcting scoliosis
