How do I get unaddicted to social media without deleting it?

Maybe write post it notes as a reminder and post it on your computer screen which says not going to check my social media sites I'm on today and plan to do something else since summer is here or try putting yourself in a schedule with it and say mon and wed and sat is time you will go on those sites only for a hour. Or find something else to keep yourself busy or have a jar that each time you want to go onto one of those sites Yoh have to put $$$ into the jar. Good luck hope this helps. :)
That's actually a good question, because most people just delete it when they are spending too much time there. I guess you just have to try distract yourself a bit of it and doing something else like talking with friends/family in person, take the dog for a walk, etc... You can also do a timetable and allow yourself to only go to social media at a certain time or with a limit of time per day. :)

I guess you have to be more hard on yourself with the timetable, then :p

Schedule yourself and include discipline.
Limit yourself fewer each day as you progress.
Find punishment for failing.
