My friend got a bump on her lip from smoking with me but I dont have any STD I got checked out last week. so what could it be?

she said her doctor told her thwt it was bacteria or something too me it just look like she has a medium size pimple on her lip

I've burned my lips on a cigarette before, could be that or something not connected with smoking.

Maybe she sucked too hard and the heat burned a little and caused a swelling. I would doubt an STD would be transferred through sharing a fag.
