Honestly I haven't been doing exactly what I'm supposed to do but for the most part I haven't been eating solid food for real. I mostly have been eating soup. I cleaned the areas 4 times each with salt water then put salt water in my mouth and moved it around then spit it out. I have been feeling this achy pain for the past few days. It's not bad though but I have a very low tolerance for pain of any kind even if it's a bee sting. Yesterday one of my stitches came out and it was red when I spit it out then after that it tasted a little like blood. My parents just said to rinse my mouth out.
You may have a dry socket. The best thing to do is see your dentist. If your parents won't take you you can call.
I think mine only bled for a few hrs. Maybe a little the next day? I don't remember any discomfort for more then a day.

Not that long. I understand your pain! It really sucks!!!
It takes a good two-three weeks for the craters to close.
