Do multivitamina go bad?

I got gnc ultra mega green multivitamins last September and they cost around 40 bucks I want to start working out again.. is it bad to take the pills? Or is it safe but not as strong? I also have been stressing out a lot my hair is thinning thought I might try it again

Expired vitamins do not go bad like food does and they do not turn into poison or toxins. Many expiration dates are set very conservatively because it benefits the supplement company. It is not dangerous to take expired vitamins, but as mentioned, the vitamins will lose their potency. So its a question of how much nutrients are still in there or if it's just a waste of time.

by the way, I applaud you for addressing potential deficiencies and/or setting yourself up better for weight loss by taking vitamins. Most people forget about this completely

It will go bad after a certain expiry date. Just have a look on the package. Mutilvitamins should realistically be expired a couple of years. So I see no problem if you wanted to take vitamins while you get back in gym and work out again. There are specific vitamins "hair, skin, nail vitamins" that you can take. That may help with the thinning of your hair. And there are certain shampoos that can help too.

I would think so... but sadly the exp date isn't there anymore 😕
