I fell on my ankle and it really hurts?

today i slipped and fell on my surgically fixed ankle and it is all red, swollen and bruised. i elevated it, icied it and rested it but the pain is getting worse. what should i do and what is it?

Go to the doctor, the emergency room, or a free clinic if the two other options are too expensive. You could have just twisted it but better safe than sorry.
