GAGers: Have you ever thought about killing someone?

I'm not asking if you WOULD kill someone. That is an entirely different matter. And I'm not here to dictate whether it's normal or abnormal to have had these thoughts before. I'm just asking if you have ever had one of those moments where someone had either done something horrible to you or someone you loved or cared for, or had just REALLY pissed you off, and you think something like "You'd be so fucking dead right now".

by the way I picked the topic as Health & Fitness because this has to do with mental health (I'm not calling anyone crazy).

I think about it often.

I have thought about it at least once.

I do not recall ever thinking about it.

I have never thought about it and I never will think about it.

My girlfriend (at the time) claimed that a guy tried to rape her, and according to her, "had done it to countless other girls he was in relationships with."

What followed was probably the farthest down the rabbit hole I had gotten, at least regarding others. But instead of acting violently, I reported him to campus security, asking that they simply keep an eye on the guy, and joined a group to help other girls come forward if anything had been done to them.

My girlfriend was furious, and it ultimately led to her breaking up with me.

Turns out, she made the whole thing up. She had a crush on the guy, and kept making advances, but he had to push her off a few times and finally straight-up rejected her, so she spreads that story around to make him look bad.

I am actually now friends with the guy. He is a big-time peace and women's advocate. As a victim of false accusations myself, this led me to follow the anti-campus-hysteria campaigns, including actively opposing the new Title IX guidelines which would have gotten both me and this guy expelled and publicly ridiculed.

Honestly, yes. It was this guy who made my childhood and early highschool years a living nightmare for me. He and his gang always waited for me after school so they could jump on me and beat me up, which went on every week for 5 years. I would have loved to kill him, but I am responsible enough to know that would definitely be the wrong path to take.

I've only ever thought about killing one person and that's the guy who raped my sister and my friend when they were teenagers. I would still kill him if I could get away with it.

Other than that, no ones has ever made me angry enough to think about killing them, I can't even kill a bug and I mean that literally lol. The only time I think like that is when someone hurts someone I love I like that.

When I used to live with my Mom.

We would fight all of the time and say horrible things to each other.
I used to hate her so much as a teen or early twenties.
That in the fit of rage I would say, "I HOPE YOU DROP DEAD!!"

At times she would wish I was never born.
I guess I got that temper from her.

Yes, I am ashamed to admit it but I have thought about this a couple of times.
I live with a person who really pisses me off and does everything she can to make me feel bad. She turns my life into hell! So, I can't help having these thoughts, although I know I shouldn't.

I hate admitting this cause it makes me look like a psychopath when I was younger I would think about killing my entire family and getting away with it. No one would ever suspect it was me. I wouldn't be sad and I'd have no remorse. But I love my family. I really do love my family. But I only thought about it because it was easy for me to get away with stuff so I used to imagine scenarios. I don't want to kill my family at all. Ya know.

I want to be a cop, so I have sometimes wondered if my life would feel different if I had to kill someone in self-defense during the course of my job. Would I be unable to live with myself? Would I not care because they were trying to kill me? Who knows... I don't think that counts for thinking about killing someone, though.

There are things that are serious enough for thoughts of killing, like in revenge, to be deemed normal. Or at the very least, understandable.

If you were to have children, and then someone were to brutally murder them, I guarantee you you'd at least think about getting revenge. If you didn't, that would say a lot about how much (or little) you loved your kids.
