Have you had a body goal for your body type (apple, rectangle/banana, hour glass, pear, etc.)? Did you ever meet that goal?

Warning I'm about to rant a little.

I've been trying to lose weight for cholesterol reasons, and I only wanted to lose enough so I can eat what I want again. Unfortunately I can't stick to a diet for the life of me so my weight fluctuates, and I've been noticing people who have pictures of their body goals seem to be more determined to lose weight than people who don't. So since I'm a banana body shape like the girl below except i have a little more waist definition (she even looks about the same size as I am and I'm 127 lbs.) I've decided to try and choose a goal for myself, but my problem is... everyone you see with that shape is beyond skinny and I don't want to be super skinny... only small enough to be at a point to not have to worry about my cholesterol again. >o > I also don't want to be bulky either. Finding a body goal is hard because I also have to consider what's good for my height which is 5'1"/1.54m. .3.

I've got a body goal, and have noticed this too.
I don't have a body goal, but I've noticed this too.
I've done fine without a body goal.
