It's not easier for men to lose weight, it depends on the individual and their genetics, but men tend to build muscle far easier than women. Years of adaptation and evolution in our ancestry. Women might catch up in a few generations though. As for losing weight, again depends on the person. Some people just need to exercise, some need to change their diet and eating habits, others need to do a combination of both. Take me for example, I tend to be a little underweight by about 5-10 lbs. I have trouble building muscle due to my body type and genetics. I can't just work out or lift weights. I need resistance to get results, yes their weights, but I'm not lifting, I'm using wrist and ankle weights, and that seems to do the trick. There is no such thing as one size fits all, you have to tailor your health habits to what your body needs, according to your biology, and it will change over time. Nothing happens overnight, it takes time. You have to keep with it, endure it, it'll feel like death in the beginning, but later it'll feel much, much better than what you started with. As for my own goals, I just want to get into shape, but I can't stay healthy long enough to do it... Message me if you want a way to learn what your body needs to reach your goals.
Immortality. Other than that no real body goals.
Immortality is cool
Indeed, which is why I study metabolism.
Hmm tell me more
That would take years lol
Metabolism is rediculously complex, is tailored per person, and if the person has genetic diseases or serious injuries or took antibiotics or has parasites, etc. it throws wrenches in, complicating things even further.
For example, you need vitamin C to absorb calcium, and Vitamin C gets destroyed when heated, and vitamin D and fiber regulate insulin, and vitamin D can't be made in the skin wothout UV rays, and sugar acts as a transport vessel for salt, which does a lot of things in the body, including allowing you to retain water or have blood pressure or nerve conduction. I could go on for hours and hours and just scratch the surface of this.
healthy humans already have indeterminant lifespans, it's just a matter of knowing how the body works to perpetuate it. which is why as each century passes, average human lifespan increases. because we learn more about how we work.
To be fit, healthy, and happy with my body.
I've already lost quite a bit of weight (over 70 pounds), and in decent shape. But I would like to lose another 10-15 pounds, along with doing more strength training so I can have a long, lean athletic figure.
The issue is trying to lose weight while maintaining muscle, AND not eating too many calories. Because I like to eat, lol
I don’t have a weight goal anymore but I want to reduce body fat percentage and inches and last longer in between meals so I can survive on less food.
Honestly that is the basic goal that I have as well. I actually love my weight right now I have boobs and I have a little butt so
Yea health and fitness improvement is more ideal than target weights since two people could weigh the same and look totally different.
Exactly. This is why I don’t go by the doctors scale

I want to get to 30 BMI with very little body fat, like Mike Tyson in his prime! :-D Currently I can't get far beyond 26 BMI without getting a belly.
>> Why is it always seem easier for men to lose weight then women?
We have physiological reasons that make it easier like higher testosterone and we don't have to deal with menstruation which impacts our food cravings and ability to train.
Yet something I think women can benefit from that can help a lot is that we guys also tend to focus on more intense activities. Most of us don't routinely do light motions resisting less than 50% of our 1-rep max. We progressively overload with the goal of lifting heavier. Many of us when we run don't just do it routinely and just to lose weight. We do it in a disciplined way that progressively overloads a training variable like speed or distance so that we can get faster and faster or build more and more endurance.
And many of us are concerned with function and not just looks, so many of us don't get tempted to do very unhealthy and counter-productive things for the long run like going on extreme hypocaloric deficits.
I see a lot more women "exercising" and not "training". There's a big difference. Exercising is routinely doing a mundane/repetitive motion with an auxiliary goal in mind like losing weight, not improving in that activity. That'd be like jamming keys on a piano sporadically with the goal of losing weight, not mastering the piano. It tends to get dull and repetitive quickly, and you can't notice much progress within the activity itself.
Training is like practicing scales and chords and rhythm on that piano as well as playing songs with the goal of getting better at the piano. It can be far more motivating.
But moreover, with very physical activities, exercising tends to become less effective the lighter you become. It's like if you are trying to walk 10k steps/day, that burns fewer calories as you get lighter and more proficient. It'd be like going to the gym and lifting lighter and lighter weights the more you go, which is the opposite of what you should be doing.
Training tends to be more effective the more advanced you get. It's like an Olympian can burn a boatload of calories in just one hour because they're so advanced. So a training approach and discipline can help bust through fat loss plateaus for those who embrace it.
The thing is that when it comes to body goals, sometimes people just aren't satisfied for long, like you may achieve your idea of a perfect body, but then your idea of perfect may change and you won't be satisfied until you achieve that and it just goes on and on.
For me though, taking the above into consideration and purely on the aesthetic, I mostly want to get rid of my scapula winging (it's when your shoulder blades stick out at the back), get some more definition in the ab area and maybe a bit more muscle mass.
I still like what I see in the mirror though, especially if I groom my body hair.
To get back to the 140lbs. I weighed last January...
Personally, I’m aiming for being thin. Not rail thin, but thin. For my height and everything, I think 150 - 165 is a good place. If there’s a bit of fat, that’s fine, so long as I’m healthy, and I look decent without my shirt on. A place where I get used to it without obsessing, something I can do the whole year. If it’s fun, that’s a big plus. Something where I can travel and still work out without too much hassle.
My weight is alright (I’m 5”7, weigh 59kg) but I REALLY am trying to gain muscle. I want to be a nicely built strong ass woman!
You're tall
Have you liked a shorter guy before? Lol
Why didn't he give you a chance!
Next time when he stares at you tell him to Man up, life is too short to keep staring at someone without doing nothing.
Is he a Muslim?
Maybe you're too open minded for him!
If you were my girlfriend and I sew you wearing legging I would be boiling with jealously and hatred lol
Maybe he thinks you're too open minded and doesn't want to get attached to you.
That's what I would be doing if I was him.
Pakis still have the same Islamic culture.
In some way yeah, don't lose hope though.
Pakis are better they don't get jealous as much.
Arab men lose a year from their lives if someone stared to their women.

A shredded body, strong enough even for calisthenics
I just eat healthy to maintain good health. My weight usually stays the same. I'm not skinny but I'm not fat either
I think biologically women aren't meant to lose of lot of weight, you know with pregnancy and all. Men can just lose weight by lifting weights and dietary changes.
Get my 6 pack back.
@Justneedtokno
maybe men are more logical about it so we just get on with it
women are emotional so its easier for them to slip off the wagon and comfort eat
presumptions
