Would you change your appareance for someone?

Question

So I met this guy and he told me he likes me because I'm thin. He says he's into skinny girls, like anorexic type lol

I said I wanted to gain weight and he said I'm okay the way I am and that would be better if I lose weight. 

I'm definitely not gonna change for him, I want some meat on my bones, but I'm asking this because I know people who have changed for other people. 

Other thing: changing and becoming and fit person is fucking great, but let's say someone wants you to become something you don't want? In my case: an anorexic bitch. Would you do it? I know I wouldn't

Look, one of the strong keys to have a strong and amazing relationship is to please the other partner and do whatever they love. However, in rare cases where the thing they love is dangerous and unhealthy (like your situation) then yes i agree with you not to do it.

But it's really important to understand one thing; like... if the girl that i love (who also loves me back) thinks i look more handsome and attractive with longer hair then i'l probably give it a try and make my hair longer (unless i reallllllly realllllllly hate it then i might not do it). I mean, what's more awesome than having the person that loves you to love you even more, things in bed will be freakin wild.

If the girl i love wants to dye her hair to blonde while she has dark hair and dark eyes (I LOVE dark hair girls with large dark eyes) i will tell her NOOOWAYYY please don't fking do it (unless if it was for a temporary time). Because i think it's STUPID when girls with that AMAZING and Angelic beauty decide to ruin it by going blonde or changing that beauty.

No way... it's really dump in my opinion... for example someone might like overweight guys... I wouldn't gain 100 lbs just for her sake no matter how much I liked her... coz if i did I'd find maself disgusting...

Don't change for him, or in fact anyone! Even the people who tell you "girl you should eat". The hell with them if you'd like to just maintain that figure. Ofcourse, if they tell you like it would be healthier and you're really in this mental illness fase (which you're clearly not) I suggest you take their advice but that's another story. You told us you wanted to gain weight so girl, you go and gain that weight, as much as you want! Why? You do it for you, it's your goal and it makes you happy. I don't know how hard it is to gain weight and how it feels to "want to gain weight" as I'm an average chick myself and I mostly want to lose it but if you really want this, focus on it instead of on this shitty guy that'll dump you as soon as your number on the scale is making you happier.

@WhatTheHellAmy a little meat on your bones will do you no harm. You have this amazing guy who is giving you a nice try, and sees that perhaps a bit Thicker is More healthy for you.
As long as it it isn't to the Mean Extreme where you are living under a tyrannical rule with an iron fist, something as simple as this is not a Big deal.
However, I did marry a few years back, a man from Egypt, where when I was living under his family roof, there were certain rules and rituals with their culture and religion, and I did change and arrange myself that I did out Of... Love and respect.

oh haaaaaaail no. I don't want to be skin and bones. I was way too skinny growing up and hated it and finally filled out a couple years ago and I like myself when I'm a little thicker, I love my thighs too much man lol

But even if a guy asked me to change in a healthy way it would hurt me, you don't get to pick out people and mold them into the doll you want.

i have tried to change myself not for a guy but to fit in. I pretended i was extroverted and outgoing instead of acting like the introverted, book nerd that i am. i felt like i was suffocating and at the same time, that it was not worth it because the preps did not like me anyways. So i met my real friends and went back to being the book nerd.

I tried to for my ex and then realized I would never be quite perfect enough in his eyes. if someone isn't satisfied with your appearance and wants you to change it they're not right for you anyway. if it was for your health or something, like you were morbidly obese and he wanted you to lose weight because he was worried, that would be different.

to answer the question, yes i have, when i first started working out, it was for the sole purpose of getting one girl <3
she said she liked guys with wide shoulders and muscular arms... so i trained for like 6 months lol! just for her :)

This guy sounds awful. Who the hell says they're into anorexic girls. That's disgusting. It's like saying "I'm super into depressed people and they're okay the way they are, in fact it would be better if they became more depressed." Okay maybe not that extreme but you get my drift. It's your body, do whatever you feel most comfortable with and don't care about what others think. And if you know you are quite thin and want to gain some weight and he is into anorexic type of figures then I'd definitely not lose more weight for him.

I would do more sports and lose some weight for a girl but it's something I wanna do myself I'm just too lazy and lacking the motivation without someone else right now.

I would never change my appearance for someone on the long term. If I were to do so, it would be solely my hair color, style or makeup. And I would do it only if he has a good argument for it (hasn't happened so far). But I wouldn't change anything for anyone. He's dating me because of who I am, not who he wants me to be.

Tried to gain weight because I thought this guy couldn't possibly like someone that's thin as me.. black guys like girls with "meat their bones." I can't gain weight so I just stopped overeating.
