What can I do to get these dark marks off of my face?

Long story short, I ran out of my skin treatment stuff a little while ago because my perscription stopped coming. My face broke out and I couldn't resist picking at it and now I have all these dark marks and my self esteem has his an all time low. The one on my nose and under my nose are the worst. They're not healing at all and the edges around them is peeling. Please help, I feel so ugly.

First of all, you are NOT ugly! Your skin is actually even better than mine, and I've had a crazy strict skincare regimen for 15 years lol. Sounds like you have some acne hyperpigmentation scars left behind from picking.

I would recommend products that fade hyperpigmentation and good sunblock.
Product ideas for hyperpigmentation: Proactiv+ Dark Spot corrector, Nadinola cream, AHA 10% glycolic acid gel, arbutin soap, kojic acid soap, papaya soap, lemon juice applied with cotton ball each day or lemon juice/turmeric/yogurt/gram flour face masks, or getting a few chemical peels done by a dermatologist... glycolic acid, lactic acid, or TCA peel. I know glycolic acid peels cost $60 at our dermatologist.

These products and most acne clearing products make your skin sensitive to the sun, so make sure to use a sunblock with 30+ spf... the more the better. Examples: EltaMD UV Clear spf 46, CeraVe AM spf 30, Biore KAO JAPAN AQUA RICH Sarasara SPF50+ , Shiseido SENKA Sunscreen Mineral Water UV Gel SPF50

apricot oil/ almond oil
mix with frankincense essential oil (few drops of a brand that says "pure and concentrated")

these help with scar tissue healing / cell regeneration and make the skin softer and smooth.
better to go herbal than use products that are all alcohol etc. based.

my SO's face is a constellation of black spots and little potholes. :))) I would never call them ugly.

Wash face with mild mild soap. Stay out of the sun.
Put something on it and get a refil for your medicated cream.
Your not ugly. Your are a lot more then a few blemishes on your cheekbones.

accutane is the only cure for acne. everything else is a bandaid.

I'd stop wearing makeup if you wear any, use a very gentle cleanser and tone, and put something like neosporin on the sores over night. You could also look into like fidget rings to help keep you from picking.

I also find that a comedone extractor helps with blemishes but doesn't make me want to pick at my face.

I don't usually wear make up, but I did start wearing it to cover the dark spots. What's a fidget ring.

First of all you are not ugly. You owe yourself an apology. Secound of all try the Ahava dead sea cream takes about a week really helps
Neutrogena can also cover it up as well as heal it.
