I have some hyperpigmentation going on right now (I know I'm not the prettiest so don't judge my pic). I usually have pretty great skin. Lately it's been awful. I've been having frequent breakouts, which makes me insecure, which makes me pick at the pimples, which causes the dark marks (aka hyperpigmentation). So anyways, I've been trying to fix it without spending much money (cause I don't have any). My had a bottle of tea tree oil in our cabinet that was almost untouched. I'm pretty sure she doesn't use it so I took it and I've been rubbing it on the dark marks for the past couple days. They're sort of fading. I was wondering, does the tea tree oil actually help, or is it just healing over time? Oh and what else can I do to get rid of the dark marks faster?
