1. Eat more, especially at breakfast, and try to have 5 to 7 meals per day (3 big and 2/4 small) in order to eat more calories than you need. If you fear making fat, eat most of your carbs (pastas, rice, potato, cereals) at breakfast and before and after you do sport if you can. Also try to eat more prots (about 1.5x your weight in grams) daily. There is a lot more to say about food but thats a start. :)
2. Boost your metabolism by exercizing : runnning/lifting weights (you won't become manly muscled dont worry), drinking water (About 2.5/3 L a day)
3. Try to have a healthy sleep (8-10h)
Here are the main aliments to make your meals :
Carbs : Oaks, whole-wheat bread, rice, whole-wheat pasta,..
Prots : White meats (chicken/turkey), red meat 5% fat (twice a week maximum), lentil, spinach,..
Good fats (important) : Olive oil, Almonds, Peanut butter (moderately)
+ Eat a lot of fruits and vegetables at all your meals

lift weights, and eat more calories (from average-health to very-healthy foods, not junk food). ;-D
Make sure you are eating 5 meals a day. Breakfast, mid morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack and dinner. Try eating carbs in the morning not at night cause then you will just gain unecessary weight. You can also try exercising a little every week to gain more muscles.
Id talk to a doctor, personally. But also carbs might help, a higher calorie diet, and building muscle.
