Is lamb considered red meat?

I plan on eating much less red meat this year and focus on fish and chicken. However I do like lamb a lot and wondered if this was considered a red meat such as beef?

Yes. but if you are cutting down on red meat because of additives it's much better because it's grass/milk fed. If you are cutting down because of the fat content lamb is as bad as any other red meat.
