Girls, it took me like an hour to shave my face with a ladies razor?

I don't understand how a ladies razor can get the job done better for you than using a mans razor, it took me like four times as long to shave my face with a ladies razor. It appears the plastic raised like a box around the razors edge make only the middle part effective. Have you used a mans razor and if so, how is the design of a ladies razor superior for your needs?

You are right, sure, women have been in charge of bras design but consider two things. The famous "torpedo bra" that you see in all the silver screen movies and at that point they are referred to as bras. Not braziers or coursettes and that design was THE bra women wore. Go look up who designed it.
I would consider it the first Bra as they were not called bras before that and it had "a look" that is recognizable by design.

It's not that its superior or not. It's just since men's razors are sharper, they usually take off the top layer of skin. And some women's razor's have extra moisturizing properties. But to be honest, I don't really care which type of razor I use, since Vaseline/moisturizer can take take care of my skin care needs, however, I find that it's a lot easier to get some nicks with a men's razor, so I am just careful of that.

Tbh, I never liked women razors (aside from the electric ones).

Also, less likely to disturb sensitive skin. Because, well, face skin is more sensitive than leg skin. Duh.

When I was in undergrad in business school they said men in focus groups, never women until after WW2 till about the 60s, men designed women's bras, they never even used women for female specific products they use. However I always remember the razor story or apparently not until about the late 50s or so did they have different razors for men and women, and the first female razor was a mans razor painted pink

And my own grandma designed bras for Maidenform after WWII, dude. Took her Rosie-the-Riveter-ass wartime uniform skills right home with her, she did, and applied them to the female form.

No, dude, they really did use women, for the testing of most women's products, right from the beginning. Pretty much straight from day one.

Should not rush to judgement so easily. I looked back and the word "never" likely got you going and should be in there.
Looking back I remember the story of the torpedo bra and how it was designed by men and totally not comfortable. In many people's minds it was the first bra that was associated with fashion and style in public. Before that can you think "generally speaking" of a bra meant to be identified and on a massive scale? Before that it was functional and fashion often is more important than fashion (high heels vs tennis shoes).
I heard a man designed the first bra in this context and the point (no pun intended) and if women had more control as you suggest they did over early bra designs commercially why were they so uncomfortable for so long?

Why were bras uncomfortable? Dude, because stretch fabrics literally did not exist until the mid-'80's, and were not widely and cheaply available until the early '90's.

No, I can't think of a famous bra before that, because there wasn't one. Theoretically it could've happened with the flapper girls in the roaring '20's, but bras hadn't really yet matured to that point by then. And once the whole world started bombing the shit out of each other, it would've been scandalous for a bra even to have been visible, much less to have acquired notoriety.

Anything you see on a runway, has nothing to do with what people wear. Like, ever. Never ever.
I mean... Not even within that same designer's collection, even. You've got ready-to-wear, you've got couture, and you've got runway. Three independent worlds.

Lol, funny how such a simple question can turn into some wild sociological analyzation of history. I love close to "Rosie the Revitor" museum which is in Richmond, CA. That's where she worked. I really want to check it out, it's been rainy so maybe I will check it out this weekend instead of seeing a movie.
Did you hear about the first woman (modern history, not talking about the league during WW2) became a professional baseball pitcher, she plays in professional leagues in AAA or something like that, she sure has gone through a very tough road, she seems so nice and youtube has a video about her, this was 2008 or so so I'm not sure where she is now or what she is doing but it would be so cool to see her in the majors but she is already in a very tough competitive league

I thought about becoming a doctor. I know more about life extension/performance/physique enhancement than many, even most actual doctors do. I'm also female, half Latina, and 1/4 Navajo, and easily could have gone to a top school for free.

But, yeah? See, that's what woulda followed me around forever: I'd be "the Latina/Native woman doc who _____". Not just "the doc who ____".

Like, you get me. Hey, I won the negro league! Go me! Well, no thanks. And I just KNOW I would have to be all smiley PR person for teenage girls in leafy suburbs, which, honey, I just could not do.

Little grim outlook, not all guys have such views, my older sister is a PhD and al the women in my family are very accomplished, I don't at all feel that women are subordinate to men.
