On accident. I had a bug fly in my ear once and had to get it out. I then forgot I had stuck my finger in my ear, and several minutes later went to bite my nail (bad habit, oops.)
It's easily the worst thing I've ever tasted. It's right up there with Vegemite, if you've ever tried that.
