If you had to break one bone what would it be?

Broke three bones in my foot at the same time and didn't realize I had even done it until I went to the doctor. I thought I just like... badly sprained it and couldn't walk on it.

Can it be like a toe? That would probably heal okay and wouldn't affect my life that much. I definitely don't want to break a big one.

@Other_Tommy_Wiseau I imagine it would be in a cast and I wouldn't step on it for a few weeks. Better than a broken leg or a broken nose which would be right in your face. Literally. Better than breaking a rib. It would hurt to breathe.

nah, broke my leg and toe. i'd take my leg any day. unless it's the knee or above, i'd take the leg any day. I don't know about nose. i mean it would suck, but you just breath through it. it's not like you can really move it. you have a point with rib, though. that would suck so much ass!

no. a bigger bone doesn't exactly mean a bigger break or longer to heal. you have to take functionality and range of motion. your toes are small and close to joints. in order to walk, you have to bend your toes. your leg bones (fibia, tibia and fibula are the main ones) are long. they are meant for stability and can't move. when you bend your leg, you are bending you knees, hips and ankles. if you had a choice, you'd rather break something that's stationary than something that can move cause you can't isolate it. there were so many times i inadvertently moved my toe or stepped wrong and hurt it.

sure, you can wear a cast, but your bones are still stiff and can still hurt a lot. it's 100lbs+ on your feet. i'm just telling you this from experience and any break in the foot is significantly more painful than fracturing your tibia/fibia unless it gets completely shattered or something ridiculous.
