Sounds like poor circulation. Try doing some foot and leg exercises. If you are a smoker, nicotine is a vasoconstrictor, which can decrease peripheral circulation significantly. If you are often cold and this happens then that can also be the reason why. Press on your toe nail to see how fast your venous return is.. when you press on it the nail bed should blanch and when you let go blood should again flood the veins, this should happen in less than 3 seconds. Its the same with your finger nails. The tingling if it is like the pins and needles after sitting on your legs for too long, is due to ischemia to the tissues, they aren't getting enough oxygen. If its not going away, go and see your doctor because its a symptom of something, and it could be that there is a more serious underlying pathology.

you are gonna have to elaborate... how long is a while? Is it non stop tingling or does it come and go?
Do you mean pins and needles? Everybody gets that if the circulations is cut off for a while and then the blood starts to flow again. It cause that tingly sensation and can be slightly painful. It will wear off though and there is nothing to worry about.

Get some stretching done during the day, girl. It'll fix you right up.
