How tall do you think I will be?

Ok so I am 16 I stand at 6 foot 4 and 3 quarter inches and I weigh 280 pounds. I was wondering if they're any medical pros or doctors on here that might be able to estimate how tall I will be for me. My mom is 5,8 my dad is 6,1 and so are all his sisters and both his parents were as well. My mothers dad was 6,4 and my grandmother is 5,1 but I have a cousin
that is about 6,7. My dads family tell me I look just how he did when he was my age. And as for my height history. I remember back to 5th grade. 5th I was 5,9 180. 6th I was 6,1 230. 7th I was 6,2 240. 8th 6,3 270. And current is 6,4 280.

Here are the upper ends of typical growth charts for American men, from the US CDC: (you can google "cdc growth charts" if you want to see more complete data)

As you can see in the graph, most boys are within about 1 1/4" to 1 1/2" of their adult height by their 16th birthday.

If you are "16" but that actually means something closer to 17, then, you have less growing to do. If you look at the graph, you'll see that boys on their 17th birthday are usually within 1/2"-1" of their adult height by then.

So:

• If it's yr 16th birthday today, then, you'll probably end up around 6'6"... maybe a quarter inch taller.

• If it's the day before yr 17th birthday, you'll probably end up around 6' 5 1/2".

• Also, if you are going to measure yr height to the nearest quarter inch, don't forget to measure at the same time of day!
The average person loses about 1/2" of height during an average day, just as a result of pressure on the spine from being upright.

Interestingly, according to the graph, shorter boys actually grow more (in an absolute sense, not just percentage-wise) after age 16 than taller boys do.
