I am a fairly serious athlete. I run cross country about 6 days a week, play soccer 3/4 days a week, and swim 3 miles or bike 20-30 miles maybe once a week each. My weekly mileage for running is about 35. We just had our time trial and I got 4th of the girls on a team that is looking to be state champions in a very competitve league. I eat fairly healthy, lots of fruits and veggies, but also lots of (mostly healthy) carbs. But I'm very worried about my weight... I feel fat and chubby all the time. I'm 5'6" and I weigh 136 pounds, but I have a pretty flat stomach and my abs are somewhat visible. But my legs seem to me to be very fatty and jiggly, especially my things and my butt. I really want to go on a diet and lose weight but I want to continue getting faster and not slow my performances. My weight seems so so high compared to everyone else's though, and I'm really self conscious about it. I want to lose weight and get a skinnier waist and skinnier legs. What are your thoughts?
Your weight is not that high. I am 5'5" and weigh 134 lbs and I am more or less shaped like you I think. My fat content is now around 20% or little less. I can go lower, but then I loose more female curves.

Do you understand that at this point you'd be sacrificing performance by trying to get whatever body ideal you're chasing?

your fine. A lot of runners tend to have thicker thighs since we use our leg muscles more and develop them more. I suggest you don't try to lose weight.
