Is this normal?

Okay so I got my period and the first day my cramps were so bad I threw up.
I had to go home from school and lay in bed all day.

I usually get really bad headaches and the cramps can be so bad I cry. Also every time I eat I get nauseous and it can be up to 1/2 an hour later before I feel fine.
I don't usually bleed heavy but there is usually one day where I bleed super heavy.

Is is this normal or is this not even close to normal?

I think it's normal , my girlfriend used to be like that sometimes during her period. you'll get used to it with time :)

It's been going on for a while. And the guy I like is somewhat worried about me.

Yeah depends also on humidity some people develop allergies because of it...
If it doesn't stop anytime soon then you should see a doctor

I don't think my mom will let me see a doctor. She hates all doctors.
Is there anything I can do on my own to make it better?

I think you should just relax and keep those windows open whenever you're like that
Drinking water or cola helps too but normally you should get used to it and stop throwing up.

This was the first time I threw up.
I have a hard time stopping it actually.

Drink a lot of coca cola it helps me stop it when i throw up

Last Thursday I couldn't get a Sprite cause I was at school.

I cry easily already when I have a period (I don't turn into a monster. I just want to be held constantly) I think it's mostly pain tho. Those cramps can be harsh

Yes it is , when I was 15 I not only throw up but I literally fainted !

These period cramps happen all the time.

It's a blood test actually. Go to an endocrinologist or a gynecologist and tell them about your problem. They'll send you to do a blood test on your hormones, then see the results
