I would research Weight Watchers and L.A. Fitness.
I thought about going to L.A. Fitness during the summer,not because I'm overweight,but because I don't feel comfortable going to a "regular" gym like Bally,because a lot of the people there are trying to show off or looking for hook ups,and get a personal trainer AND join a food...one of those food programs.

There is really no need to spend all that money on a gym membership, or personal trainer. There is plenty of stuff you can do at home, running, biking, swimming, playing sports with friends. Every weight loss solution has the same principle, eat less, exercise more.
Idk about gyms. After joining one I gained about 10 lbs.
