Well, you may lose some weight at first, but your metabolism will begin to slow down because your brain is going to begin to tell your body to store any and all calories that you may be taking in. You are also going to become extremely exhausted and may not be able to function after a while. I went on a "diet" like this years ago and my body finally was barely able to function. I was barely able to crawl out of bed each day. My bones and my muscles became depleted because my body began to take calcium and nutrients from my bones and muscles. This is the beginning of malnutrition. Every day, your body needs a certain amount of calories to just be able to function. This is called your "basal metabolism rate" (BMR). If you are trying to lose weight, it is suggested that you take your current weight multiplied by 8. This should tell you how many calories you should be eating in a day's time. In order to stay at this amount of calories (Example: 135 lbs x 8 = 1080 calories per day), you need to calculate how many calories you've eaten after each meal and then subtract any exercise calories (or calories you spent working) from the amount that you've eaten. Each hour of regular exercise or work equals 240 calories burnt. So, the example would be:
Calories eaten during the day: 2000
Minus calories burned: 1000
Equals : 1000
This is just an example of how to count your calories. Also, eating a cheeseburger and coffee do not have the necessary vitamins and minerals for your body to remain healthy. Yes, you can eat this way but your body will begin to develop a vitamin and mineral deficiency. When I starved myself for several years and ate the way you are mentioning, I developed a calcium deficiency as well as a vitamin K deficiency. My bones become more brittle from the calcium deficiency, and as a result of the vitamin K deficiency, my blood would not clot properly. My gums began to bleed continuously, which gave me very bad breath, and my wounds would not heal. It took weeks for even small cuts on my body to heal. Vitamin K is found in green vegetables, such as spinach.
At any rate, I'm not trying to give you a lecture regarding this, but I want people to be aware of how dangerous poor nutrition can be for your health. You may not see the effects right away of poor nutrition, but it's definitely something that you will see later on in your life.
Something I would recommend, if you choose to eat this way, is that you take at least one multivitamin every day, and that you take the kind that has 100% of all the vitamins and minerals possible - especially Vitamin K. These are a bit more difficult to find, but you can get them at WalMart or KMart. The generic brand is called, "Equate," but make sure that it has 100% Vitamin K as well as the other vitamins. It's not all that expensive, and it's worth it to save your health from becoming poor. Lots of water too! Good luck!
Loosse the cheesburgers and add fruit..
ok that kind of diet is not going to work for weightloss
if you want to lose weight eating 1 mcdonalds cheeseburger is not going to do it. Why starve yourself for 1 lousy cheesburger.
If you want to lose weight fast. Cut out carbs Monday-Friday. Then on the weekends eat everything you see. Next week cut out carbs again Monday-Friday. Weekend eat everything in your way.
Make sure you drink lots of water, Eat every 2-3 hours, an Exercise. You'll become a weight loss machine
***Before you attempt this diet CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR***
Its not about how much you eat, its about what you eat.
Beware of crazy mood swings! And constipation!
first off, drinking a sh*tload of coffee like that will have your caffefine levels skyrocketting and your blood pressure through the roof.
secondly, a mcdonalds cheeseburger is full of a bunch of other crap you do not want floating in your system. you can have a meal with less calories than that damn burger.
there are a million and one ways to lose weight. drinking water and nothing else is a sure fire way to lose weight - is it smart? hell no, but you will get results.
the ONLY way to lose weight, KEEP IT OFF, and do your body good is by exercising (whether it's an hour or two in the gym or a half hour walk around the block) and making better food choices. I don't believe in diets - I believe in lifestyle changes.
You know that you should snack regularly on small things like apple slices or light yogurt (which provides calcium, which has been proven to help aid weight loss as well as bone strength - which is especially important because you're a female)
you should get the baked instead of fried and the grilled instead of fried. light over regular and water over soda. you don't have to really deprive your body to see results. when you're good to your body, it's good to you. it's just that simple.'
everything must be in moderation. you shouldn't avoid bad foods all together because the temptation to eat them will be a lot worse. you can allow cheats for special occassions (not the whole chocolate cake, but a slice...two if you workout twice as hard the next day). you can indulge in a french fry if your friend has some. losing weight shouldn't be this tedious ordeal. if should be a healthy lifestyle choice that won't completely run your life.
i've lost 30 + pounds in a little under five months by working out and making better choices. I wish you a lot of lucky and be patient with yourself! stop worrying and watch the weight go away.
You cannot eat like this and lose weight. You may lose a couple pounds but as soon as you eat normally again you will gain everything you lost plus some. Try just eating healthier and about 1200 calories a day. Any less and your body will hold onto fat and go into starvation mode like other have state. Try eating like this, it helped me to lose all of my pregnancy weight plus some in about 3 months and I was starving.
Breakfast-egg beaters, dry wheat toast, black coffee
Lunch-salad with vingerette dressing, a apple, cottage cheese
Dinner-Grilled Chicken, brown rice and veggies.
There are actually foods you can eat called "negative calorie" foods. These foods cause your body to burn more calories to digest them then are in the food to being with. IE- 1 cup of carrots has 60 calories but your body burns 85 calories just to digest them so by eating the carrots you are actually burning a extra 25 calories. There is a whole list of foods like this, just google negative calorie foods. PLEASE don't starve yourself though you are causing more harm than good.
i don't advise this honest like I did this in 2006 for the hole summer accept all I ate was 216 calories a day and I lost loads of weight but instead of been happier I became more paronaoid and more self consious and just a moody emotional bitch. and then the next year I was heavier but a lot happier and less paronoid
but from what my body lost I lost 5-7lb a week now you might not be the same but that's what I did !
oh and just to let you know prepare to be twice the size you were before once you stop! just eat healtily works out better isn't that quick though sadly
216 calories... A DAY?!?!?! How....? What is that like 10 potato chips?
Nope its like a weight watcher meal, water and cup of soup

Alright, sweetie!
You need to eat food, hun. And by food, I don't mean coffee and a McDonalds cheeseburger..
On the one hand, that's not enough food to run off of, and on the other hand, eating at McDonald's isn't going to help you lose weight.
Try this!:
When I changed my diet lifestyle, this worked like a charm: Light meals that fill you up, have low amounts of calories in them, and help you to lose weight!
Breakfast:
1 Cup no-sugar Cereal (Special K, Corn Flakes, Shreddies, Cherios...)
1/2 Cup Skimmed Milk
or
1 Slice Whole Weat Toast
1 Fruit or Vegetable
1 Cup Natural Fruit Juice (No Sugar Added)
Lunch:
Whole Wheat Pita
1 TBSP grated cheese
1/2 cup cubed chicken
1/2 cup shredded lettuce
Supper:
1 Cup Whole WheatPasta
1/4 Cup Tomato Pasta Sauce
1 Cup Skimmed Milk
See? Something as simple as that is prefect for you! Light meals, healthy, and not vey fattening. Carbs are good for you in moderation. 1/2 cup is the typical portion size-- Fruits and Vegetables are of no harm to your system. Excersize one to two hours a day, and you'll be on your way, sweetie
sorry I don't have a huge weight loss story but one of my best friends did a diet like this but she was also bulimic so she was virtually taking in no calories. let me tell you she became an emotional and physical wreck after a few days. I would never recommend this to anyone and seeing what he has gone through and how it affected her family and friends makes my heart hurt.instead eat 5-6 small meals a day cut out desserts and sweets, eat organic and exercise. the key to losing weight is to burn more calories than you consume. Keep in mind that there are a couple different types of calories- carb calories and fat calories. Intense, high cardio workouts burn carb calories and less intense workouts suck as a brisk walk burn the fat calories. don't starve yourself for a cheeseburger. some foods may be a little high in calories but there are good calories and bad calories just as there are good fats and bad fats. it all depends on the food. take nuts for example, they are high in calories but an excellent source of protein which your body needs to produce muscle.so in exchange for the caloric content you are actually helping your body. can you tell that I work at a gym? haha
you'll probably end up gaining weight on such a low calorie diet. I know you’ve probably heard this a million times, but weight loss is progressive. When it comes to losing weight, there isn’t a quick fix or ‘get-out-of-jail-free’ card. If you want to maintain a healthy weight, it really has to happen over a period of time.
Real change is not quick and painless. A “short-cut” will ultimately distract and keep you from reaching your potential. “10 lbs gone in 10 days,” and other such gimmicks work for maybe two seconds. You’re likely to weigh even more than when you began. What good does that do?
Try 6 mini-meals per day consisting of lean protein, veggies, fruits and whole grains. Losing weight means changing your lifestyle for good, so it’s important to develop healthy habits. Cut out the processed junk and simple sugars. If you have trouble with portions or don’t have time to cook healthy, try something like NutriSystem.home delivered meals.
Make sure to include exercise, at least 30 minutes, 5 days per week.adding more time each week to support weight loss. Hire a personal trainer to keep you motivated if you can afford it.
I know this isn’t the answer you’re looking for, but small steps are what really work in the long run. Good luck!
Wow, that's a really low amount of calories. =/
You will lose a lot of weight in the first couple of weeks, but after a while, your metabolism will really start to slow down and may cause health issues (and ultimately slow your weight loss).
I've lost a lot of weight (50+ lbs) and I'm sorry to admit it, but the best way of losing weight is eating healthier food and exercise. This doesn't mean eating like a rabbit, but save sweets for special occasions, and like jaylow said, stop eating when you're not hungry.
I hope this helps, but to get the best results for losing a large amount a weight, I would reccomend visiting a doctor. Best of luck! =)
I've lost 30+pounds doing it the right way. people are in such a rush tho. I mean, you're gonna lose weight in the end anyway, so why rush it? took me about five months to lose the weight, but I'm very happy and proud :)
ahahahahaaha! you must of been consterpated! having no fiber in your diet will f*** you up.
and where is the fruit and vegies and WATER! water helps you loose weight, not coffee and mc donalds!
ahah 350 calories, you cannot survive on. yes you will lose weight, bbut then ans everyones else has been saying, your matabiolism will slow down dramaticly, and when you start to each foods with fat in them, your body will be like "omg food!" so it will store all the fat, and you will put on even more weight.
this is an extreemly unhealthy way of thinking, and treating your body.
just go to the gym, and eat healthy. 6 SMALL HEALTHY MEALS A DAY AND PLENTY OF WATER!
I agree with irish girl I think all us in ireland have tried it lol
Anyway you just need 2 b happy with yourself and what helps is only eat when ur hungry not because its dinner time or lunch time. When you are eatin eat slowly and enjoy ur food but stop eatin once you don't feel hungry anymore. this means ur probably b eatin more often durin the day but u'll not b eatin that much and it helps build up ur matabolisim which burns calories a lot quicker
good luck
only 350? that's very low. I saw that the healthiest way is to lose weight slowlylike 1-3 pounds per week if you go on a 1500 calorie diet.
if you are too low, then you might die. that isnt' healthy at all.
and I dont' recommend eating mcdonalds anyways.
Your body should not have no less than 1200 calories a day. How many do you eat now?
To start off take the amount of calories you eat now and subtract 500 and then eat that many calories. Start to add exercise to your day.
if you eat only 350 calories a day you will loose wieght fast but you will probably gain it all back within a month or worse develop an eating disorder.
Try going on Weight watchers were you can get a mean plan system and attend meetings with others.
Tons and tons especially if you skip the McDonalds! Don't be so ridiculous.if you eat 1200 calories of healthy food you'll lose loads of weight and still stay alive.
What you really think a body can stay alive and function on a crappy unhealthy cheeseburger and coffee, yeah probably for a few days then will just shut down and you'll be a wreak.
I'd get some counselling, you clearly need some help with your relationship with food and direction in dieting.
So...eating less than 1000 calories in a day would slow down ur metabolism, try to eat at least 500...or more, but 1000 is the best, and work out.U WILL LOSE WEIGHT 100%.
you need fiber, less calories and more fruit and vegs, don't forget to drink a lot of water and be very productive
ur gonna die! just plyn, at least eat an salad for lunch
wow that's so low for your body, you are definitly going to feel so tired
I wouldn't suggest you did this, you'll become very unhealthy.
You need more protein in your diet and you're not going to lose weight eating McDonalds. You can seriously eat more if you eat healthier. 1500 cal is I think the minimum a person should eat. Just keep within 1500-2000 and exercise an hour daily.
you are going to lose lots of weight at the first times
why would you eat at McDonalds?!
ok see ur insane
go to a gym
I've never heard of anything so insane.
