There's a healthy amount of fat storage your body is supposed to have. Too much and you're fat, not enough and you're anorexic. Neither are sexy, neither are good for you in the long run. End of story.
Do I think everyone should try to look like models? No.
Do I think its ok for some lazy idiot that's as wide as they are tall to demand everyone else call them attractive as they shove another piece of cheesecake in their greasy pimpled face? Also No.
Having a dating preference =/= criticizing everyone who doesn't meet them.
Yes, most men prefer women that are slim or average weight. However, it has been years since I've bore witness to a single instance of a man or woman offering unsolicited critcism of a woman's weight.

Given how obese the average woman is today, the woman on the far right looks in great shape by comparison! Maybe my perceptions are skewed by all the hideous land whales, who knows.
And I'd argue girls are judged MUCH LESS harshly on looks than men. Heck, Okcupid found that girls rate 80% of guys as below average in the looks department.
Hell yes I think they are. The world puts to much pressure on women. If you a skinny model you gain a couple pounds and they call you fat or a pig. Plus size model (the best in my opinion) are constantly being made fun of because they are a little bigger than most girls. But guess what they are still beautiful and gorgeous. Skinny girls if someone says you're to skinny jusy ignore them they are just trying to put down another girl. Thicker girls don't let anyone call you fat or anything you're beautiful. Thick girls can't be calling skinny girls out and skinny girls can't be calling thicker girls out y'all are both beautiful women stick together.
Yes, I think is woman are. We have to look a certain way all the time and people say little comment about our bodies all the time. It’s hard and stressful to deal with as to have a “perfect body” we have to go to the gym and eat no junk food. Most people see attractive bodies as being a small waist and large boobs and butt.
That's not considered healthy, but it's considered "attractive". It's the very opposite for guys - not in all cases though
Womens are being judged too harshly not because of the way they look, but because of the way they should look.
What happened natural beauty? I think insecurity also plays a part because if you don't like the way your body looks or feel comfortable with who you are, then everyone will continue to judge.
Girls shut it down... Tell the world that your beautiful and that there is no need for the stereotypical image and weight. You don't have to do anything more than just be you. If you don't want to wear makeup then don't.. Wear what you want

I mean, if women are going to criticize men for not making x amount of money, then i think it's fair for men to criticize women who aren't taking care their bodies or who aren't looking their best.
Well to be fair, its not like men are much less prejudiced for their weight and height... When i was around the same shape as the one on the right almost no girl showed any interest in me... It's all preferences, but the fact is that nowadays becoming fat is extremely easy (plus many unemployed and depressed people become fat) while staying in shape requires discipline and a healthy lifestyle, so it's not such a wonder that fat people are considered less attractive as healthy is the attractive for mot.
I do, we should respect people as they are :D
Okay, if someone is so heavy he or she is looking to get cancer or diabetes maybe - if it's a close family member or your partner - you should talk about it.
But some people are so judgmental and break off nice people :-(
In the united states, the first would be considered hot by public, anorexic by drs. the second would be fit-attractive if she was toned, or chubby- attractive as is. the third -overweight unless really muscular.

Men are visual and less likely to choose a female to date, marry etc. based on emotions.
That being said.
Women are just the opposite using more emotions to pick their Male counterpart. Thus leaving the physical attraction less of a factor. Although still having relevance.
To help break it down a little more:
when we look at any woman and I mean any woman (Mom and family excluded) We see them as a political mate and start the breakdown of realistic odds in our head subconsciously.
The odds determine if you are:
1) Friend
2) enamy
3) Neutral
4) or getting your leg humped

Pfffft what? You think most people would call the girl on the right fat? Fat isn't healthy but she isn't fat, she doesn't look like she could weight more than 160 lbs. If you try telling me 250 lbs is healthy, you're a liar.
Additionally, guys are shamed for having a poor body too, as a 6'2" 120lb man, I can personally attest to this.
Yes i do think women have to meet a higher standard when it comes to weight. Men get away with it more so up to the dad bod and then i consider them fat as well. Women also get treated better as well now adays then men do to so i dont feel bad and further more think women or men in general should want to look there best be there best weight

Only by other women. Women just live to trash each other. Many men like women more on center/right of these women.
I would date thin women but all things being equal I would prefer a women that's is not thin. But not overweight the women in the pic I wouldn't consider overweight.
Guys are criticize for there weight overweight but more commonly for being underweight or small. But it doesn't seem to affect as much it's more of a joke laugh about and move on.
I know a few guys that are 5'5 Ish. I see these women say no short guys or no guys under 6'.
I'd suggest for you and any one else man or women the important part is health. Working out and doing all that stuff is great but Don't kill yourself trying to be skinny.

Yes, but I believe that the pressure comes not from men, but from both other women and marketing companies. I actually fond the woman on the right more close to my ideal as far as body type. The other two look too skinny too me. But again that's just me.
Fat shaming isn't helping. I think it leads to people being hurt and seeking comfort in food even more. Notice that I said people, not just women.
That said, I don't support fat acceptance either. Accepting it means it should be regarded as normal, which it shouldn't be, because it isn't healthy.

But women are judged on their overall appearance more so than guys. The actual number on the scale doesn't matter. But if just looking at a girl you can tell she's like 20+ lb overweight, then it's the appearance that is judged vs the scale weight. I know fit girls who are 155+ and no one would say they look unhealthy. The weight is less important than the composition and where you hold your fat.
Yeah but guys are criticized for being thin more than women are. But besides that, we shouldn’t constantly be measuring ours against men, but if we’re going to then you should consult a man first. There are going to be things we take for granted because none of us know what it’s like to be a man.
Yea i mean, i get criticized for my weight sometimes and it took a toll on me to the point where i dnt like wearing sleeveless outfits sometimes😒 im working on it... SLOWLY😂 but yeah i think both genders get critized but i see the criticism more in women...
