Google didn't help. Super sensitive/achy teeth...?

So basically, I got my teeth cleaned at the dentist on the 30th of November. More than two weeks ago. The dental hygienist said it would be normal for my teeth to be a little sore for a few days after... But they still hurt. Really bad.

It's like throbbing pain that keeps me awake when I try to go to sleep at night. It's manageable during the day but worse at night. I don't do anything different except rinse with ACT mouthwash after brushing and flossing before bed. I don't know if the mouthwash or what. O_O

Should I call my dentist and ask about my teeth sensitivity? I don't want to seem like an idiot but this is getting pretty worrisome. And Google didn't yield any satisfying results as to my predicament.

Update- I hate talking on the phone. I'm weird. O_O So I didn't call the dentist... But I skipped mouthwash last night and my teeth already feel considerably better. So that's really the only thing I can think of. I'm gonna see how the next few days go.
