Do you get migraines? What do you do/take for them?

I get them A LOT. I have Fioricet but it doesn't do much anymore. I told my sister to buy me Excedrin Migraine while she's out but she said no because she's being a bitch. :(

So what do you do for your migraine headaches? I have work to do so going to sleep isn't an option.

I've never gotten them, but I've heard they really really suck. Some girl I used to work with got a migraine once & she said she couldn't even see in front of her.

I have had one for two days:( I have been getting them since I was in middle school and they suck, especially when they last more than a day. If I catch mine at the beginning Excedrin works pretty good, but if I get the point where I get sick at my stomach and my eye sight gets blurry, nothing really helps. I try to go somewhere dark, cool and quiet and put a cold towel on my head. I have had to go to the doctor and get a shot of pain medicine.

Caffeine can help ease them for some people, also valerian.

I've inherited those from my father and have had a constant one for practically 4 years; waking up every morning with one; the consequence of a lot of stress and other stupidity I have had to deal with. However, despite that I refuse medication and they will subside with time, or, I will try to get out and do some physical activity to get it out of my system-most times that will work, otherwise I'll sleep it off and feel better.

excedrin migraine will do nothing for a real migraine. I get them off and on (pretty random) and all I can do is lay in bed in misery. I don't know any quick fix for them for your situation. maybe a diet change would help, I don't know. they are truly evil, I feel for anyone who goes through them.

I get migraines usually every week. I also have a prescription for Fioricet but it doesn't have a strong effect anymore. It sucks that you can't get Excedrin Migraine because that is the most helpful at relieving migraines. You may be able to used Head On for Migraines, the cooling sensation can be helpful. I hope you feel better soon.

the first thing you should do, is drink a lot of water. you could just be dehydrated. if that doesn't help, cover your eyes and or go into a dark room and lay down, the light intensifies the pain. excedrin migraine works well if those other things don't help.

I get them too! UGH. Excedrin Migraine, water, and lay down in a dark room...that's the only thing that works for me. If you can't get to Excedrin, try a high dose of caffeine.

I have them and vomit and pass out.i take zomig rapimelt . The other thing I do is rub the back of my head with menthol(Vick's) or some thing that has a lot of menthol in it I also run the front of my head with the menthol sometimes 15 min.and the migraine is gone.:-) but they can last for days.

I know in advance when I will have a migraine and can do something before it is to late ( if I can ) if am at home.

yes sometimes. I have no idea what causes them though. I usually take a tylenol, nap, take a hot shower and feel much better

Vitamin B and E, fresh air, rest your eyes, and most importantly drink plenty of water
