First make sure you are doing it for yourself and not for someone else. Most important thing to remember is to not skip a meal or make yourself throw up. Consult with a doctor before you start anything(I always hear that on commercials). Other than that I find it helpful to eat smaller portioned meals (5-6 small meals) a day instead of eating three square meals a day. And the last important thing to remember is exercise. Personally, I wouldn't really worry about losing weight if I were you(unless it is causing health issues). You are young yet. Just make sure you eat healthy, eat enough food, and exercise daily.
