How do I get her number?

There is this girl who works at the mall in Journey. I don't know anything about her but I see her working there often. She's crazy cute and I'd love to take her out. What's the best way to just approach her out of the blue?

I've never really just cold approached somebody to ask for their number. Help me out with some specific examples.

Girls, I could REALLY use your input here. Anything would be appreciated.

If it helps, she's short, has dark hair, usually wearing skinny jeans and a band shirt. You know the type.

it may take a little bit of time, but unless shes' noticed/recognizes you...if you approached her right now...she'd think a random person approaching her for her # is a little weird...so first pretend your a customer...make small talk..beyond the whole shoe store thing...

After that...wait a few days and if you see her make sure she notices you and wave or you can approach her at this point and say something like:

"I'm about to go eat at [some restaurant I the food court] would you like to join me? Or when is your break?"

and go from there.

you could go in and start looking at stuff she is kind of obliged to ask if she can help you then you can make some small talk. after you know her a bit you could say I got to get back to work, what's your number so we can finish our conversation over text. something like that sounded less cheesy in my head

In my experience, if you just start talking to someone and flirting with them for a little then ask for their number, you usually get it. Worst case, she says no or something to that effect and you move on. It's not like you have any connection so you aren't loosing anything.
