People should work to be confident and healthy at the weight that is right for them
Body confidence is important, but not if you are overweight. Losing weight, dieting and exercising is not folding to societal pressure it is about making you healthy.
Yea I can't stand the part of body positivity supporting love yourself if you're obese. I'd also like to say for those that have given up on weight-loss, it probably took you along time to become obese, why do you think it'll take you like 2 monthes to lose it all.
Body positivity was about supporting people with flaws on their body they couldn't remove. Missing limbs, scars, birthmarks, difformities... Exactly because they couldn't change it and had to live with it. It shouldn't concern fat people, since all they have is fat, which they can lose with more or less difficulty. In fact, those people stole body positivity to make it about them. And only fat women, because fat men can still be rejected and mocked, of course.
It's really sad to see women expose themselves even when they have beautiful bodies! It shows me they value attention more than modesty. Which is a bad character trait.
When people encourage obese or fat women to do the same it's even more humiliating.
I have seen girls post like that and all my friends clown them for it... sad.
You should call out obesity. People need to take better care of their health. By showing their obese body, they are normalizing it and want support for their obesity.
What do you mean by "normalizing"? That obesity is sadly normal, especially in the US, is simply a fact. And one problem is society's totally ambivalent attitute towards it - on the one hand we've been glorifying thinness for decades, but at the same time we keep up a system that creates a lot of obesity.
Agree 100%. People should like themselves for what they've accomplished but never let it get in the way of self improvement. Being overweight is not healthy.
Personally I wouldn't want to see someone who's overweight wearing spandex that exposes everything and that it doesn't even fit them properly now we're some women if you got it flaunt it if not then don't do it
It’s okay to be obese and be confident. I think many obese people are attractive but it is very unhealthy. It should not be promoted, anyone who becomes obese should start to lose weight for the sake of their health.
It is a problem, but we have only two ways to deal. Either softly convincing people to take care of themselves or harshly criticizing. Pretty sure former works better than latter.
The normalization of obesity is one of the lines on which modern feminism moves, just as the rest of feminism has the sole purpose of not taking any responsibility for one's actions and unloading one's responsibilities on others.

1) Because they're lazy.
2) There is no number 2.
Are fat female celebrities, like the singer Lizzo, incorrectly promoting obesity as not only healthy, but attractive?

Bravo to you, sweet <3

Thank you ❤️

They're idiots, by doing so they're killing tons of people,, obese people should be encouraged to lose weight instead of playing blind.

This is what western society has brought us, hurting someone's feelings is worse than stating facts.
not western society... left wing politics
the new left wing hates any form of success. they hate winners, they hate rich people, they hate healthy people
everything they promote is about bringing people down. obesity is one of them
Exactly why the world has but a few years left

In the age of political correctness and people glorifying degenerate behavior, its expected that obesity is going to be normalized.
For the same reason that the LGBTQ:OUH:OSNG:OSNGF:ONWSER:OIGN:OIDSHNG:OLWSERNTG:OLINEARF:LNASE:TGOLINEDSAPO:IGT is trying to normalize pedophilia.

I'm not even worried about that there are people out here trying to normalize pedophilia this question right here is barely important
You should've kept scrolling then ❤️
I'm already here boo, sorry 😭

Because stupidity has enslaved their minds, as well as an outstanding reluctance to learn from history.
